AI is ubiquitous in healthcare now. I was featured in the Healthcare section of Oswego County Business Magazine, where I discussed AI applications in healthcare in general and also at Oswego Health. I highlighted how AI driven systems and tools addressed systemic challenges related to administrative burden and rising operational costs. We also delved into AI in the predictive analytics space with real world uses in medical imaging, patient risk stratification, and drug discovery and development. Of course, no discussion in AI is complete without talking about concerns such as data privacy, algorithmic bias and need for validation and regulatory review. Bottom line is AI is helping with operational optimization and augmenting the roles of clinicians and acting as clinical partners.
