We just had to share!

Beautiful Soul,

If you've been following along for a while, you know that Pure Clarity has been growing, changing, and finding its true roots. Every step has brought me closer to creating experiences that help people slow down and reconnect—with nature, with creativity, and with each other.

So I'm so excited to finally share this...

Pure Clarity is now offering private parties and hands-on workshops! ✨

And here's the fun part...

Even though I don't have a cute little herb shop (yet 😉), that doesn't mean we can't gather. In fact, I think it's even better—I get to bring the magic right to your doorstep.

Whether it's your home, backyard, garage, event space, or favorite gathering spot, I'll bring everything needed for a unique, nature-inspired experience your guests won't forget.

Picture everyone around the table, creating with their hands, laughing, sharing stories, and walking away with something they made themselves.

From whimsical fairy parties for ages 8 and up to herbal bachelorette parties, birthdays, bridal showers, girls' nights, homeschool groups, and other special celebrations, each workshop is customized to fit your group.

But here's what I really want you to know...

We don't just host parties.

We create moments where people put their phones down, breathe a little deeper, get their hands a little dirty, reconnect with nature, and remember how good it feels to simply create together.

Because the best celebrations aren't about having the fanciest decorations or the biggest guest list. They're about the moments that make you smile months later.

If you've been looking for something different for your next gathering—something meaningful, hands-on, and just a little magical—I would absolutely love to create that with you.

And if you know someone planning a birthday, shower, bachelorette party, or girls' night, I'd be so grateful if you'd share this with them.

Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine as it continues to grow. I truly can't wait to see where this next adventure leads.

With love and gratitude,

Kari

Private Parties & Workshops

Some of life's sweetest memories are made around a table—hands busy creating, laughter filling the room, and hearts feeling just a little lighter.

At Pure Clarity, we bring that experience to you. Whether you're gathering in your home, backyard, event space, or another special place, we transform your space into a nature-inspired workshop filled with creativity, connection, and a little bit of magic.

From enchanting fairy parties for ages 8 and up to herbal bachelorette parties, birthdays, bridal showers, homeschool groups, team-building events, and cozy girls' nights, every gathering is customized to fit your vision.

Choose from a variety of hands-on herbal and botanical DIY projects that your guests will create and take home—a lasting reminder of the day you shared together.

But we don't just host parties.

We create moments where people slow down, put their phones away, work with their hands, reconnect with nature, and leave feeling inspired.

Because the best celebrations aren't measured by decorations or favors—they're remembered by how they made us feel.

If you're looking for an experience that's a little different, a little earthy, and full of heart, we'd be honored to bring the magic to your next gathering.

Let's create something beautiful together. We'd love to party with you.

Learning to Quiet the Noise — When Everything Paused, Something Shifted

This week felt full in a way I didn’t fully notice until I finally stopped moving.

Not everything was resolved. Not everything was organized. Life was still happening in overlapping layers — responsibilities, thoughts, and the quiet pressure of everything that still needed attention.

But there was a small moment where something shifted. I paused. Not because everything was done, but because I realized everything didn’t need to be held at the same time.

I made hibiscus bath tea with a bit of oatmeal, ran a hot bath, and let myself step out of the mental cycle of trying to hold, plan, and solve everything all at once.

And something important happened in that pause. The noise didn’t disappear — but it softened. What had felt like a thousand open tabs demanding attention began to separate again, instead of sitting as one overwhelming weight.

That shift didn’t come from fixing anything. It came from where I placed my attention.

I noticed I had been trying to hold everything at once in my mind — as if everything needed me at the same time. When I stopped doing that, even briefly, something inside me settled.

I told myself: “We are not solving everything right now. We are only attending to what is in front of us — right here in the moment.”

And that changed everything.

What I’ve been noticing since then is simple: So much of overwhelm doesn’t come from what’s happening around us — it comes from trying to hold it all at once inside us.

When everything is carried together, it feels heavy and endless. But when attention narrows — even for a moment — things start to feel separate again. Manageable. One at a time.

Not easier. Just less tangled.

This is still something I’m learning, not something I’ve mastered. But this week reminded me of something I keep coming back to:

Sometimes calming the mind doesn’t start with fixing anything. Sometimes it starts with permission. Permission to stop holding everything at once.

If your mind has felt full lately, maybe it doesn’t need to be cleared or controlled.

Maybe it just needs a place to land. Something simple. Something grounding. Something right in front of you.

Even briefly. Even imperfectly.

🌿 A small practice: If you find yourself carrying too much at once, you might try this:

Make something simple (tea, water, something warm in your hands)

Sit for a moment before moving on to the next thing

Gently notice: “Right now, I am only here.”

Let everything else wait without asking it to disappear

Not to fix anything — just to step out of holding it all at once.

This is the kind of quiet I’m continuing to learn — not as something to achieve, but as something to return to in small moments of real life.

If you’re here too, I hope you find even a small pocket of that kind of softness this week.

For the Trying Times

Beautiful Soul,

For the days that feel heavy, full, or like they never quite belong to you, I’ve been thinking about small ways we can return to ourselves without needing to leave our lives.

Especially for parents and caregivers, the day doesn’t really stop asking things of you. But there are still small openings—quiet, ordinary ones—that can help bring you back into your body, even briefly.

Here is a simple way to think about those moments:

A cup of tea, intentionally made.
Not rushed, not forgotten on the counter. Something like chamomile to soften tension, peppermint for clarity, or lemon balm when your mind feels loud. Let the steam rise before you drink it. Let it exist as a pause, not a task.

A return to scent and touch.
Brush your fingers through rosemary, thyme, or mint if they’re near you. Crush a leaf lightly between your fingers and breathe it in. Let the scent interrupt the mental noise for even a moment.

A grounding breath near something living.
A plant, a garden bed, a windowsill herb pot—anything green and growing. Notice it without needing to change it. Let it remind you that growth doesn’t rush, even when everything else does.

A slow second of stillness in an ordinary place.
By the kettle. At the sink. In the doorway before stepping into the next thing. One breath where nothing is being asked of you except to be present.

These are not big resets. They don’t fix everything. But they do soften the edges where the day starts to press in too tightly.

And sometimes, that is enough to keep you from disappearing into the roles you hold.

If you take anything from this, let it be simple:

Come back to yourself in small ways. Often. Without waiting for permission.

Even if it’s just a sip of tea you actually taste.
Even if it’s one leaf, one breath, one quiet moment.

It still counts.

You’re doing great.

Take care of yourself in whatever way you can right now,
-Rev. Kari

May

May always feels like things are finally moving again.

Not in a rushed way—but in that quiet, undeniable way where the garden starts filling in whether we’re ready or not. Herbs pushing back through soil. Weeds showing up uninvited. Longer light stretching into the evening while the day still feels too short.

Life starts to feel a little louder this month.

And in a house, or a life, or a body that’s already full… that can feel like a lot.

So I’ve been trying to meet this season differently.

Not by adding more. But by noticing what is already here.

The day I realize I’ve been holding my shoulders up without noticing.
Pausing in the doorway for a second before moving on to the next thing.
Actually smelling the herbs when I walk past them instead of only seeing them.
Remembering, briefly, to come back into myself before the day pulls me forward again.

These aren’t big moments. They’re almost easy to miss. But they’re the ones that have been bringing me back to myself lately.

And I think that’s what I keep coming back to—care doesn’t always have to be something added in. Sometimes it’s just noticing what’s already happening and not skipping past it.

In my work right now, I’m continuing to lean into that same rhythm: simpler offerings, seasonal herbs, and things that feel useful in the middle of real, everyday life—not separate from it.

My spiritual work is still here too, just no longer the center of what I’m building. It will show up in a more intentional, quieter way alongside everything else as this continues to evolve.

Mostly, I’m letting things grow where the light feels most natural to follow.

If May feels full for you too, I hope you don’t try to force it into something smaller or more manageable than it is.

Maybe instead just notice the small moments that are already happening inside it.

Even if they’re easy to miss.
Even if they don’t feel like enough.

They still matter.

Adulthood is wild because I really thought I’d be out here being a serious, put-together person…

But instead I’m sitting here watching Masha and the Bear like:

“Ah yes. The Bear is in a lab coat diagnosing droopy tulips. Same.”

Meanwhile my real life includes:

someone sticking pig stickers on my face
me emotionally spiraling in a Target parking lot over coffee
meal planning like I’m running a small restaurant
and now I’m apparently a plant scientist again 🌿😄

Honestly at this point I’m just a background character in my own chaotic little cartoon and I’ve accepted it.
