Employee Spotlight: Mason

This month, we’re proud to recognize Mason, our Maintenance Technician! During his nine months with us, Mason has become known as a dedicated, hardworking team member who is always willing to help residents and coworkers.

He was inspired to work in assisted living by his desire to make a difference and especially enjoys learning new skills and seeing projects through to completion. A former member of the United States Marine Corps, Mason enjoys playing paintball outside of work. Thank you, Mason, for all you do for our community!

For older adults living alone, winter can bring more than snow and icy roads—it can also mean fewer visitors, fewer activities and fewer everyday moments of connection.

In her latest article, Julie Chetney, Vice President of Admissions and Marketing and Assisted Living Operations at Elemental Management Group, shares why families should start the winter conversation now—and why planning should go beyond asking, “Will Mom or Dad be safe at home?”

Our garden has been busy growing, and today it was time to see what was ready for picking! 💚

🛍️ Today, our Wellness Center was transformed into a fun shopping event! Today we had the privilege of welcoming the Deputy Chief Emmons from the Oswego Fire Department for a hands-on training with our emergency evacuation stair chairs.

Our team learned how to safely assist residents during an emergency evacuation, and the training was incredibly informative. Even better, our staff was eager to learn and practice these important skills because the safety of our residents is always our highest priority.

A huge thank you to the Oswego Fire Department for taking the time to share their expertise. Their professionalism, knowledge, and commitment to our community are truly appreciated.

We are incredibly fortunate to have them serving Oswego—they truly are heroes in our community. ❤️🚒
