✨ Big congratulations to Othello High School seniors Fernanda Rodriguez and Bella Garza, recipients of the CBHA Healthy Futures Scholarship! ✨
Each student received a $2,000 scholarship to help support tuition, books, supplies, and other educational expenses as they take the next step toward their futures.
🎓 🎓 Fernanda plans to attend Gonzaga University to pursue nursing, with hopes of giving back to the Othello community through compassionate patient care. Throughout high school, she stayed involved in FBLA, HOSA, ASB, NHS, track & field, cross country, cheerleading, and completed more than 250 hours of community service.
“Becoming a nurse would be an honor, being the person patients can depend on. Being genuine and kind are what set good nurses apart.”
🎓🎓 Bella plans to major in psychology and eventually earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with the goal of expanding mental health support and resources for local individuals and families. She participated in Running Start, volleyball, National Honor Society, and volunteered at the food bank and community events. She will attend either BYU or WSU this fall.
“Some of the most meaningful moments in my life have come from simply sitting down with someone and having real, honest conversations. I have seen how powerful it is to feel heard and understood.”
👏 We are proud to support these incredible students as they continue their education and work toward making a difference in their communities. Congratulations, Fernanda and Bella!
