She is spot on…these are things are common in a hospital birth!! However, thinking about all of this while in labor isn’t always realistic SO hire a doula OR birth in a place that won’t do these unnecessary things!!!

I truly appreciate this community!!! ❤️ You ladies are the BEST! When a mama is in need, you all step up and rise to the challenge with so much generosity and love. It is such a beautiful thing to witness!

My only wish is that we could reach more of the mamas who may not feel able to ask for help or haven’t yet reached out. Please know that we are here for you! Ladies! Next Thursday, the 23rd, at 6:00 PM, I’ll be hosting a Pelvic Floor Specialist at the Childbirth Collective, and moms of all ages are invited!

I’d love for you to join us—and bring a friend! Pelvic floor health is something so many women silently struggle with, often assuming it’s just a normal part of motherhood. It doesn’t have to be. Come learn, ask questions, and leave feeling informed and encouraged.

This can be controversial, please disregard if it isn’t helpful! If you are struggling with baby waking up multiple times a night and are having trouble getting a fully fed baby during the night, this may help! It won’t work for all, some dads just aren’t very nurturing, but for those who are, it could be a real win!!
