Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part Time or Full Time
Practice: Story City Dental/Iowa Sedation Dentistry – 525 Timberland Dr, Story City, IA 50248

Pay rate: $38-45 per hour based on experience
Description:
We are looking for a motivated, down-to-earth part-time or full-time dental hygienist to join our team in delivering great patient care at Story City Dental (home of Iowa Sedation Dentistry). Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with Cavitron units, digital imaging, intraoral scanners, and TVs in every hygiene operatory. We have an established, loyal patient pool with a strong consistent new patient flow to help you build lasting relationships. You will be working alongside our part-time hygienist and will have a floating dental assistant available to assist as needed. We currently have 1 full time dentist and another dentist who works 3 days a month delivering sedation dentistry. Our office cares for patients who request sedation for dental treatment (including neurodivergent and disabled individuals), so you are expected to provide treatment for these sedation patients under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Binkowski, our CRNA, and dental assistants.

Compensation will be based on experience with regular performance reviews leading up to the annual performance review in June. Bonus based pay structure is available after 1 year of employment. We stay on top of innovations in dentistry and future growth is possible with laser assisted hygiene, air polishing, and community/school programs.

Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
CPR certification
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills for patient education, team collaboration, and patient care coordination
Good computer skills
Attention to detail
