May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠💚
Mental health is just as important as physical health—yet it’s often overlooked or stigmatized. Conditions like Depression, Anxiety disorders, and Post-traumatic stress disorder affect millions of people every year, across all ages and backgrounds.
As healthcare professionals (and as a community), we play a critical role in recognizing the signs, supporting one another, and encouraging patients to seek help early. Mental health challenges are common—and treatable.
This month, let’s work to:• Normalize conversations about mental health• Reduce stigma• Encourage screening and early intervention• Remind our patients—and ourselves—that support is available
If you or someone you know is struggling, reaching out is a strong and important first step.
