“How will I look a month after surgery?”
It’s hard to predict! We usually counsel patients that the first week is the toughest, they’ll have something to be self conscious about for 3 weeks, and they likely won’t be happy until 3 months or later for the subtle stuff to improve.
But these are generalities - everyone follows their own path. Our patient featured here came to for her surgery about a month ago and she’s healing beautifully & has the best attitude. But we still see persistent lymph stasis around the eyes & cheeks, and the submental/submandibular region. This is totally normal and she’s following all the rules to expedite its resolution.
But regardless of red light therapy, HBOT, MLD, supplements, peptides, topicals and/or whatever else, the most important thing is TIME. And she’s been super patient going with the flow!
