June 1st was a very popular birthday at Blossom. We had 3 babies in just under 7 hours. Thankfully all three of us were in town so we were able to split up and each midwife went to a birth. A big thank to our friends who dropped their plans for the day to come help us.

I first met this family when they welcomed their firstborn and now I've had the privilege of catching all three of their boys -one in the hospital, one at the birth center, and now one at home. It's also hard to believe that I've been a midwife long enough that this is a semi regular occurrence. Time flies when you're doing what you love.

This mama came to us at 35 weeks after making the decision to switch providers and have her first home birth. It was wonderful to help her achieve her goals and welcome her baby girl at home.

We've also been busy catching babies in between working on the new office. This baby girl came flying into the world in such a hurry and was joyfully welcomed by her parents and big brother. We've had the honor of caring for this family through two pregnancies and loved seeing their family grow.

We're moving!! If you wondered where we've been, we've been busy working on a bigger and better office space to better serve our growing practice and meet our client's needs. Coming next week, we will begin seeing clients in our new office space at 6540 W 95th Street, suite 101; Overland Park, KS. If you are an existing client, you will receive a text reminding you of your appointment and our new location address. We're only 5 minutes from our old location. Looking forward to seeing you there!

This sweet baby girl made her parents wait until 42 weeks before she made her appearance. We were so happy to help welcome her to the world.

The mothers of these two sweet babies are friends and their babies tried their hardest to share a birthday. We're thankful they gave us a little break in between. They were both also repeat clients for us. Both had a baby at the birth center and one was our very first Blossom repeat client. We're always so honored to be invited into repeat births and get to see the little babies we caught grow up into big brothers and sisters.
