Urogynecology of Kansas City

Urogynecology of Kansas City Urogynecology of Kansas City, LLC Pelvic floor disorders include bladder and bowel control problems as well as pelvic organ prolapse.

They occur when women have weakened pelvic muscles or tears in the connective tissue. If you suffer from one or more of these conditions, you are not alone. One in three women will experience a pelvic floor disorder in her lifetime. While increasing age is a risk factor for developing these conditions they are not considered a part of normal aging. Dr. Nosti completed a three-year fellowship at Georgetown University in Washington DC; one of the nation’s premier Urogynecology programs. During his three year fellowship he performed hundreds of innovative procedures with some of the nation’s top pelvic surgeons. He has published extensively on pelvic floor disorders and has won several research and teaching awards. During his training he focused on minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery becoming certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery. We are dedicated to providing women with superior individualized care for pelvic floor disorders. There isn’t just one reason a woman may consider labiaplasty. For some, it may be physical discomfort from rubbing or irritation. For others, it may be discomfort during intimacy, concerns about appearance or asymmetry, or simply something that has affected their confidence for a long time.

And sometimes, it’s a combination of concerns.

Labiaplasty is a personal decision, and you don’t need to compare your reasons to anyone else’s. Dr. Patrick Nosti takes the time to understand what’s bothering you, answer your questions, and discuss whether labiaplasty may be appropriate for your individual goals.

Some questions are harder to ask out loud. That doesn’t make them any less worth asking.
