“But everyone has one” has never been a pediatric safety guideline. 🤷🏼‍♀️In my practice, most middle-schoolers still forget their water bottle, so I’m not convinced they need 28 mph transportation.

The problem isn’t bad kids. It’s adult-level speed with child-level decision making, and E-bikes remove their margin for error. 💯Helmets help, but physics still wins — making serious e-bike accidents more frequent each year.

Get outside. Play with friends. Keep bikes pedal-powered until 16. 💙
