Community impact is our middle name 💫 Another weekend of Proficient Service outside the office!

This weekend Dr. Tipler spoke at MCBA’s Seniors & Caregivers Day, sharing the importance of spinal health and wellness with our community. At the same time, our team was out supporting the Yoga at the Core event, connecting movement, mindfulness, and chiropractic care together.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to educate, serve, and show up for our community, both inside and outside the office! 🙌

WOW, what a weekend!!! 🔥

It’s an honor to celebrate our very own SHERO, Dr. Stewart ( ), for receiving the Torchbearer Award at the 2026 Golden Hour Unsung Shero Awards presented by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. 👏🏾✨

The impact didn’t stop there…

Dr. Deb and Dr. Jamia were out in the community at the Take Care Sis event, spreading awareness about the importance of spinal health and empowering our community to take charge of their wellness 💪🏾

Meanwhile, Dr. Tipler and Dr. Anthony hit the pavement for a 5K in support of Black Maternal Health 🏃🏾‍♀️ (swipe to catch the full experience through Dr. Anthony’s eyes!)

At that same event, Dr. Stewart also spoke on the pivotal role chiropractors play in supporting Black maternal health, continuing the mission both on and off the stage.

We are beyond grateful for everyone who showed up, supported, and poured into these moments with us 🤍

Meet the Doctor

Born in Greenville, Mississippi, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Anthony Scott brings a unique blend of Southern roots and West Coast energy to his practice. He is a proud alumnus of Alcorn State University, a historic HBCU where he first developed his passion for serving others.

Dr. Scott earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University, where he served as President of the Student American Black Chiropractic Association (SABCA). He remains an active member of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA) and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Driven by a deep commitment to community and holistic wellness, Dr. Scott is dedicated to helping patients function at their best and improve their overall quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based chiropractic care.

His Philosophy-Empower every individual to move better, feel better, and live better—one adjustment at a time.

Honoring Black History Month with the people who keep our community strong.

Proficient Chiropractic had the privilege of attending the Youth & Family Center’s Black History Program—celebrating legacy, leadership, and the *village* it takes to help our youth, families, and seniors thrive.

The Youth & Family Center is doing powerful work across St. Louis and nearby Illinois, providing holistic resources that educate, advocate, build skills, and support healthy, stable, independent lives. We’re proud to stand with organizations that stabilize and uplift our community.
