Hi! I am Preslie and the hands behind Preslie's Oasis. ✋ ️ I have been a massage therapist for the past 12 years. I graduated from Owatonna High School in 2013, and then went on to graduate with an associates degree from Minnesota School of Businness in 2015. After graduating from MSB, I became a certified massage therapist and have been massaging ever since. As a child, their was a time when my cousins and I would create a massage train and massage eachothers shoulders. We would all hope we didn't end up being the last person, otherwise we would miss out on the benefits of a great massage. I knew at that time I was meant to help people, but it wasn't until much later I realized I should go into the massage therapy industry. 💆‍♀️ My absolute favorite massage modalities are deep tissue/trigger point massage, and prental massage. I am known for my deep tissue massage, and love it because I am able to effectively break up stubborn tissue and get your body moving, and feeling more like it should. Prenatal massage is my next favorite because I think it is amazing what a woman's body is able to go through in order to bring life in to the world. I love being a part of this journey, getting to witness the changes and be another support system/ tool for the body/mind during this incredible time. It's a bonus when we get to talk about all the baby things, as I love babies and have 2 of my own. I grew up in Owatonna, but now live in West Concord with my husband, 3 year old daughter, and 1 year old son. When I am not at the table you can find me in my garden, reading a good book, taking my kids swimming, camping with family, and spending time with our 2 dogs, cat, and many chickens. Some of our FAVORITE services are deep tissue/trigger point massage 🎯, prenatal,🤰& hot stone massage. 🪨 Our massage therapist, Preslie Athey, CMT provides 30, 45, 60, 90 Minute, and 2 Hour Massage sessions. She is known for her deep tissue massage and tailors each massage to the guests specific needs. This may mean spending the whole 90 minutes on the upper body if requested/ needed.
