Yesterday, Benedictine celebrated National Senior Citizens Day! We honor the wisdom, resilience and life experiences of older adults and celebrate the lasting impact they have on our communities every day.

Last night we were honored to hold our annual car show in memory of Beverly Simon. Her loving husband Jon Simon has been instrumental in getting our annual car show organized and it meant so much to us to use this wonderful event to celebrate them. Thank you to Jon, all the folks that brought their cool cars, Trinity Lutheran Church - Owatonna, Minnesota for the volunteers, and all the staff that made last night memorable! We were all truly blessed to be part of such an amazing evening.

Have you had The Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream from OTB Cafe yet? Our residents, staff, family members, and anyone walking through our doors were lucky enough to enjoy the Superhuman and Mackinac Island Fudge flavors on Friday!! It was sooo good! Thank you to OTB for the ice cream and a BIG THANK YOU to our strong volunteer scoopers!!

Well we only caught 2 fish but we still caught a lot of fun times out on the lake. Thank you again to Let's Go Fishing Scott County for making this annual experience so amazing!!
