I think it’s safe to say that 100% of the people Graced Again helps have experienced significant changes in their lives recently. Many are coming out of local shelters or recovery programs. Some have experienced a major health crisis that caused them to lose just about everything they owned. Others have walked away from toxic relationships with very few personal items, if any.
These are the people Graced Again seeks to help. Once they find a place to rent, we help them with the basic items needed to start over - beds, couches/chais, chests/dressers, end tables, lamps, shower curtains (and hooks), towels, dishes, silverware, etc.
Our very generous community has faithfully supported our efforts for nearly five years - and we’re nowhere close to being finished. In fact, I don’t think there is a finish line. Since our world began, there have always been people who needed a helping hand - and people reaching for those hands.
When you’re upgrading, downsizing, feeling the need to purge, or to peruse the garage sales, please remember us. Our volunteers are the BEST, and they’ll cheerfully pick up your donations, if needed, and pass them on to those on a new path.
