For the past three years, Nikki has been one of the first friendly faces clients meet when beginning their recovery journey. As an Intake Coordinator and Certified Peer Support Specialist, she brings compassion, encouragement and hope to every interaction.

Meet Paris, Our New Targeted Case Manager! 🌿

Born and raised in Kentucky, Paris Miller brings 15 years of experience in human services, including four years in case management. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Paris has a genuine passion for serving others, especially individuals facing challenges or barriers in their lives. She values building meaningful relationships, identifying each person’s unique needs, and connecting them with helpful resources as they work toward their goals.

Paris is excited to continue serving her community by meeting people where they are and helping them navigate barriers on the path toward greater stability and success.

Meet Sydney, LCSW! 🌿

Sydney brings 10 years of mental health experience to our community, including work in crisis stabilization, inpatient and community-based care, private practice, employee assistance programs, and support for justice-involved youth.

Using a trauma-focused, holistic approach, Sydney helps clients understand the roots of difficult emotions and behaviors while strengthening the connection between mind and body. She is trained in EMDR and also incorporates CBT, solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and psychodynamic theory.

Sydney provides in-person individual and family therapy for:
• Children ages 7 and older
• Teenagers
• Adults up to age 50
• Families
• Justice-involved youth

Born and raised in Owensboro, Sydney is excited to return home after 10 years in Louisville and use her experience to support the community she loves.

Her goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where every client feels peace, belonging, and support—meeting them where they are and helping guide them toward where they want to be.

Each intern brings unique strengths and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on individuals and communities.

During their time at TrueNorth, they will gain hands-on experience by shadowing and observing group sessions, peer support, case management operations, and the Navigators Program. They will also have opportunities to participate in community outreach.

We are excited to support their learning and growth and grateful to have them as part of the TrueNorth team!
