🚶‍♀️👟 How Many Steps Should You Take Each Day? 👟🚶‍♂️

You've probably heard the goal of 10,000 steps a day, but the ideal number can vary based on your age and activity level.

Here's a general guide:

👦 Children & Adolescents (6–17 years):
Aim for 10,000–16,000 steps per day, along with at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day.

🧑 Adults (18–64 years):
A good goal is 7,000–10,000 steps per day. Research shows that even 7,000–8,000 daily steps can provide significant health benefits, including supporting heart health and reducing the risk of chronic disease.

👵 Older Adults (65+ years):
Aim for 6,000–8,000 steps per day, or as recommended by your healthcare provider based on your health and mobility. Every step counts, and staying active can improve balance, strength, and overall well-being.

💙 Remember: The best exercise is the one you can do consistently. If you're just getting started, don't worry about hitting a specific number right away. Start where you are, add a few more steps each day, and celebrate your progress!
