********More Testing Opportunities Available********

We have a doctoral intern through WKU that is looking for those needing psychological testing in the following areas:

*Early Childhood Development (ages 2-5) This can include testing for communication behavior, social assessments and suspected autism.

*Child Emotional and Behavioral Evaluation (ages 1-12)

*Adolescent Emotional and Behavioral Evaluation (ages 13-17)

*Adult Serious Mental Health Evaluation (over 18 with a reading
level 6th grade or higher). Example: suspected bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disruption, etc.

*Adolescent Serious Mental Health Evaluation (under 18 with a reading level 6th grade or higher)

*Autism (age 13-17)

This testing will be offered to those on traditional KY Medicaid or for a discounted private pay rate as we will no longer be on other insurance panels at this time.

Are you or a loved one in need of a psychological evaluation in Owensboro? If so, this may be an opportunity for you!

We have an experienced psychology doctoral student from WKU that will be doing a internship at Behavior Associates and will have a limited number of openings over the next year for a variety of testing clients. A few of these can include autism testing as she is trained in those evals currently, but we will be looking for a variety of clients for this opportunity.

This will be offered to those on traditional KY Medicaid or for a discounted private pay rate as we will no longer be on other insurance panels at this time.

Job description:

Seeking a part time contractor to provide positive behavior supports to those under the MPW and SCL waivers in home, at day training sites, and in the community. This position is in Henderson KY and surrounding counties.

Positive Behavior Supports are used when there is a need to develop a plan which identifies prevention strategies to reduce significant challenging behaviors which interfere with activities of daily living, social interaction or work. The plan will instruct on replacement skills and new ways to respond to the challenging behaviors

Required: Master’s degree in a behavioral science with two years of behavioral programming and direct service experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Counseling or any behavioral science degree. Training and support provided. KY waiver experience a plus!
