Dr. Kay Corpus’ approach to medicine involves uncovering the root cause of illness and disease, which, she believes, is essential to living well and in full vitality. In her clinical practice, she and her patients work together to illuminate how pathology occurs as a result of emotional, psychological, and spiritual imbalances. She elicits the act of personal story-telling from her patients throug

h deep self-inquiry in order to help identify stuck emotion and energy beneath the symptoms and illness. Consequently, this clarifies their truth then liberates the soul. It is this essential process which cultivates and enhances the healing process. She believes that our biology is truly a result of our biography. Dr. Corpus combines the best of all worlds of healing-yoga, meditation, supplements, whole foods nutrition, homeopathy, Ayurveda, psychotherapy, energy medicine, bodywork, and conventional medicine, when appropriate-to arrive at an individual, comprehensive, and holistic treatment plan for her patients. Dr. Corpus is a board-certified Family Physician specializing in Integrative and Functional Medicine. She is also a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Dr. Corpus completed her family medicine residency at Penn State Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, a two-year Integrative Medicine fellowship with Andrew Weil, MD through the University of Arizona and training with Mark Hyman, MD with the Institute of Functional Medicine. She lives in Owensboro, KY with her beautiful family. Dr. Corpus is now a certified practitioner with the Whole Health Medicine Institute with Lissa Rankin, MD whereby she joins the new generation of visionary physicians in healing patients, communities, health care and humanity one person at a time.

Here’s what most women are never told:

Before you fix your hormones…
Before you change your diet…
Before you overhaul your routine…

Your nervous system has to feel safe.

If you’re constantly braced, overstimulated, or running on stress,
no plan will land the way it’s meant to.

Calm is not laziness.
Calm is repair.

Regulation isn’t the opposite of progress.
It’s the foundation of it.

You don’t need more discipline.
You need safety in your body.

And sometimes, that starts with understanding what your system has been carrying.

If you’re ready for that kind of clarity, the Menopause Review is a gentle place to begin.

Trust your body. Embrace your wisdom. Book an appointment: https://kaycorpusmd.com/work-with-me/

Did you know that making art literally calms your nervous system?

Here's what happens when you pick up a paintbrush:

🧠 Brushwork lowers cortisol — your body's primary stress hormone.

💛 Creative flow activates your parasympathetic nervous system — the rest-and-restore state your body rarely gets to visit.

🌿 Art-making builds new neural pathways. Cognitive flexibility grows. The brain that creates is a brain that heals.

🎨 And when words aren't enough, color speaks. Painting gives form to what we carry — grief, exhaustion, wonder — and creates distance, perspective, and genuine relief.

You don't have to be good at art for it to work. You just have to show up.

Join us June 16th for our inaugural watercolor class with master artist Ken Oliver.

Meet your guide for June 16th. ✨

Ken Oliver is a master watercolor artist, beloved teacher, and the creator of the famous ColorBurst powders that have brought color to makers around the world.

His classes sell out for a reason.

Ken's approach is gentle, intuitive, and deeply encouraging - which means whether you've never picked up a brush OR you've been painting for years, you are going to feel right at home.

In his own words: everyone has a creative spirit waiting to be expressed. Watercolor, with its beautiful unpredictability, is one of the most forgiving and magical mediums there is.

On June 16th, Ken will guide us through painting Pando, the oldest living organism on Earth - an ancient aspen forest, luminous and golden. You'll leave with a finished, frameable 11"x15" painting and a newfound love for watercolor.

🎨 Early Bird: $65 through June 1st · $75 after

I have a confession.

For years, I told myself art was a luxury. That I didn't have time. That I needed to be "good at it" before I could enjoy it.

Then one evening, I picked up a paintbrush and felt like I came home to myself.

That's why I created Art is Medicine.

Because I know I'm not the only one who's been living on the practical path, running on fumes, giving everything to everyone else. And I believe with everything I have that creativity isn't a hobby — it's medicine. It does something for the body and the mind that no prescription can replicate.

Our inaugural class is June 16th. Watercolor painting with the brilliant Ken Oliver. Limited seats. All materials included. Early Bird pricing ($65) through June 1st.

Come paint with me. Let's come home to ourselves, together. Register through the link below.

“This is just what happens at my age,” she whispered to herself at 2 a.m.

The house was quiet, but her mind wasn’t.

She threw the covers off again, too hot to sleep, already dreading tomorrow:
the brain fog, the irritability, the exhaustion she keeps blaming on herself.

But this transition isn’t happening because she’s failing.

Her body is changing, and no one ever taught her how to understand it.

That’s why this workshop isn’t about balancing hormones in isolation.

It’s about understanding why old strategies stop working, why this season feels so intense, and how calming the nervous system creates space for healing.

That’s the work we’re doing inside The Soul of Menopause Workshop.

Helping women move from confusion and self-blame to clarity, self-trust, and relief.

Uncertainty fuels anxiety.

Pain. Brain fog. Mood swings.
Women wonder if something serious is being missed.

Perimenopause has over 30 possible symptoms, many unexpected.

Proper evaluation rules out what needs ruling out and clarifies what’s hormonal.

Clarity reduces fear.

If you’re unsure what’s driving your symptoms, comprehensive assessment can bring reassurance. Book a menopause review with me so we can talk about it. Visit link here: https://kaycorpusmd.com/work-with-me/

“This is just what happens at my age,” she whispered to herself at 2 a.m.
The house was silent, but her mind was loud.

She threw the covers off — too hot again — then stared at the ceiling, feeling that familiar cocktail of restlessness and dread.
Tomorrow she’d drag herself through meetings, forget words mid-sentence, snap at her kids, then feel guilty for it.
By evening she’d blame herself: If I were more disciplined, I’d have this under control.

But it isn’t discipline she’s missing.
It’s orientation.

Her body isn’t malfunctioning; it’s re-calibrating.
Her nervous system is trying to find a new rhythm — one that honors the woman she’s becoming, not the pace she used to keep.

That’s the moment I wish every woman understood:
midlife isn’t the end of vitality; it’s the call home to it.

In the Soul of Menopause Workshop, I translate that 2 a.m. chaos into clarity — so she can finally exhale and whisper,
“Nothing’s wrong with me… my body’s just speaking a new language.”

✨ If that feels like your midnight, comment RECLAIM and I’ll send you the details.
Because you deserve a night’s sleep that doesn’t come with shame.

Women are overwhelmed by protocols, powders, and promises.
More is not always better.

Sometimes the issue isn’t what you’re taking, it’s what’s driving the imbalance.

Testing without interpretation.
Supplements without nervous system regulation.
Protocols without context.

Simplifying often heals more than stacking.

If you’re tired of guessing what to take, a personalized plan may feel lighter. Let's talk. Book an appointment with me. Click here: https://kaycorpusmd.com/work-with-me/
