This week we are taking our residents back in time! We are celebrating the 50s all week long!
Today we kicked off the 50s week with some photos of our ladies and gentlemen! Then the afternoon consisted of making frames for our photos!
Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the week! 🐩☮️❤️

Yesterday was another exciting day for our residents and staff!
Our residents enjoyed another day of hippie fest! They all got to tye-dye their pillow cases! It was fun to listen to them try to decide what colors they each wanted! As they were trying to decide I listened to each of them and I thought how each pillow case is different and unique at the same time! And I thought, it’s kinda like us, we are all people, but we are so different in our own ways! And that’s what makes us who we are!
Staff was able to come and work on their skills at the skills fair! One they were fine each of them was given a goodie bag!
Later the residents went to the “tattoo parlor” where they were able to choose a tattoo and where they wanted it put at!
And then we finished off everyone’s day with a root beer float! They were so refreshing, some came back for seconds!
I believe it’s safe to say, everyone had a great time! 🤗

We took our residents and staff back to hippie days today! This morning they enjoyed the donut social, and some even assisted with decorating while reminiscing about the hippie era!
Then residents had a coloring contest… while staff was participating in the annual skills fair and showing off how well they know their skills!
We finished up the day with hippie bingo! It’s definitely always a good time with everyone
