What started as a passion for helping people heal has grown into a practice that supports families, athletes, veterans, and patients walking through some of life’s hardest seasons. I’m constantly learning, expanding my offerings, and striving to create a space where people feel truly seen and cared for.

As a mom of three, building a business while staying present at home has been one of my greatest challenges — and greatest blessings. 🤍

As an acupuncturist, the recent report of an NFL player suffering a collapsed lung from dry needling by a non-acupuncturist reinforces why I’ve never supported this practice.

Needling is not benign. Acupuncturists receive years of training in anatomy, depth, angle, and safety specific to needle insertion. When needles are used without that level of education, the risks are real.

If needles are involved, acupuncturists should be the ones using them

The smoke is horrible here today from the wildfires in Canada. Acupoint Lung 10, the fire point on the Lung meridian, is a great point for smoke inhalation, phlegm and dryness in the lungs, as well as heat in the lungs. If you are an essential oil user you can add black spruce. Black spruce is good for the lung meridian and the tree itself is a survivor tree, often found growing in challenging and damaged areas of the forest. The point can be found in the center of the muscle on the palm near the thumb. It will likely be tender as you press on it.
