Throwback to sept 2020! There was a big black rectangle of a former sign on washington st. I hired a guy with a lift to take it down and put up a small sign i had made from an artisan at the farmers market :)
We rented a lift but i was too afraid to go up high so Jerry painted the top and i did the lower. (On a property I rented)

For some reason Jerry and i met and got straight to work. Ongoing projects are what we do!!!
Our home is an ongoing piece of art as well.

The 12th is our 6 year wedding anniversary. Yes, we got married during covid! This is our 9th year together. Time flies when youre aligned!

Other massage room color options...it has 2 bright windows so im gonna color drench it.

I gotta prime all the doors and paint the doors and then touch up everything that keeps jumping out at me depending on the time of day.

There are 11 doors to do. 2 are done!

Jerry ordered door handles for the doors.... i picked up moss to glue on the enormous raw wood shelves between the bark. Jerry is finishing and fixing a bunch of stuff that he wasnt supposed to have to do but im grateful i have a man that's not lazy...

I paid the deposit for my vinyl sign! There's lots of details but we are getting there. Im bad at making capcut reels but will work on one soon to show ya the progress.

I want to sand down the sauna and oil it again before we put it back together. That's kinda normal maintenance and it's a great time to do before it's put back together.

The head spa rooms, sauna+ red light room and other massage room need to be decorated after im convinced the walls and ceilings dont look like crap. Head spas are both plumbed through the floor and on demand hot water heater is kicking!

I still havent ordered the washer and dryer but our plumber ran everything beautifully for when i get them.

This whole process takes a lot of emotional and physical energy (not to mention $$$$$$) and today right now my stance is: im never doing anything like this again.

Self care day! Since my husband Jerry and I have been hustling all day every day: (Him more so than I)
He treated us to a tattoo at Royalty tattoo in Durand! Jeremy drew on a bunch of flowers in some available space I had around my entire ankle and lower leg. Chris gave my husband a piece in honor of Jerry's older brother that he was never able to meet.

Trick to healing tattoos: keep the absorbent pads on overnight. Take off, wash, and pat dry. Apply dermsheild covering and leave on for 3 or 4 days. When that comes off the tattoo is essentially healed and you can use a simple lotion like aveeno. You don't have to swell, scab, burn, peel and definitely no picking. You really dont have to wash the tattoo multiple times a day and apply various lotions. Im telling you; Do.these.steps.

And have a visit to Royalty in Durand to see any of the gentleman there. Jeremy, Nick or Chris. It's a holiday weekend. Get a tattoo! Tell em we sent you. 9892882190

A goal ive had since i was a little girl when i saw tattoos on magazines in the grocery store was to be heavily tattooed. Im not yet..but i WILL be. I would never consider covering my tattoos and would never work for anyone who asked me to. As far as i know no one has batted an eye about them and if i they did i certainly havent noticed. I will always be authentic, honest and genuine and don't plan on changing that!

A girl needs a she shed for her zero turn mower! Gotta stain it and put in some flowers in the cute little window boxes!...

Yknow theres a few reasons people elect to spray everything white and grey!

Painting drastically different colors (and caring about the end result) is quite cumbersome.

I picked this chandelier up in 2023 in Istanbul, Turkiye. Due to it's enormity I couldnt install it in our home.

Im overcome with emotion everytime i look at this exquisite fixture. The memories, the growth, the dreams realized. I'm so grateful for the life I get to live because I got out of my own way.
