In Loving Memory of Mrs. Carol Work McLaurin

"After many years in Virginia, Carol returned to Oxford to live in her childhood home. She always welcomed family and friends into her home with country music playing in the background and her orange tabby cat nearby. She enjoyed spending hours on her back deck watching the birds and trees in her secret garden, going for walks up South 11th Street and around the Square, and visiting William Faulkner’s home. She especially loved seeing her high school classmates and attending their monthly Class of 1964 lunches at the Beacon, where she always enjoyed a slice of lemon meringue pie."
