Summit Physical Therapy is a locally owned physical therapy clinic. Sarah Giroux, owner, has been a therapist for 8 years and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in 2007. The mission of Summit PT is to provide the highest quality of care focusing on encouragement, positive attitude, professionalism, personal and individualized treatment to provide the best outcome to each patient. We take the steps to make sure you have the highest level of care from the moment you call and walk through the door. We strive to get you your first appointment within 24 hours and will make the steps easy for you by verifying your insurance and explaining the process to you. Today we highlight the one who runs the clinic, keeps us all in line, greets every patient with a smile, and handles all the insurance things…Kaitlin Stacia Ufolla 🙌🙌

Kaitlin has been with us for just over two years now and runs our front desk! She is the friendly voice you hear when you call, greets you at the door, handles all of your insurance woes, gets authorization and manages the scheduling. She is willing to help out with anything to make sure patients are scheduled with ONE PT and gets you in as soon as she can.

Kaitlin lives in Oxford with her daughter Ava. She loves supporting her at cheer and spending any time with her she can!

Can we all give a big THANK YOU for all she does to make the clinic run as smooth as it can 🙌🙌

The PTs can’t do their job well without all of our supporting staff! Next up is Angie Carver-Sharrow our licensed PTA 🙌

Angie works along side all of the therapist to provide continuous care with manual treatment and exercises. She is certified in Graston and co-treats with all the PTs in vestibular, women’s health, gait and balance, sports injuries and post -op care. She is willing to change her hours to accommodate patients schedules to make sure everyone gets in when they want!

Angie is married with three kids who all graduated from Oxford. She has two grandbabies and watches them once a week. Angie has been taking up golf in her spare time and spending extra minutes with the grandbabies.

Our newest therapist is Logan Canada who brings a young set of hands to the clinic 🙌

Logan has been with us for two years now but currently on maternity leave for another month! Logan brings new techniques and treatments as a newer grad. She treats a lot of athletes, specializes in concussion treatment and overhead athletic injuries, as well as vestibular rehab.

Logan is married to her husband Bryce and they just welcomed their little girl into this world.

Mindy has been with Summit for four years now! She is married to Larry who you may recognize from Oxford Bike Shoppe and has two kids.

Mindy is our primary women’s health therapist specializing in internal women’s health issues. She is also certified in PWR! which is treatment for Parkinson’s patients. In addition she does Graston treatment and is planning on starting rehab for bike injuries.

Today we are highlighting Lisa Lewis 🙌

Lisa has been with Summit for over four years and a PT for almost 20 years! She is the cheerful PT in the clinic and always lending a smile. Lisa has recently got her certification in Lymphedema and also treats vestibular, gait and balance issues, as well as post-op, sports, and general diagnosis.

Lisa is married to her husband John and has two kids in Oxford schools. She loves boating, traveling, watching her kids sports, and being active in her spare time.

Suzanne has been with Summit for NINE out of the 10 years open! She specializes in vestibular rehab, women’s health, is certified in Astym and Dry needling and loves treating everything to keep the day challenging and exciting. Suzanne has been practicing over 20 years and an excellent therapist who loves her job and treats patients with the best care

Let’s meet the staff!

We are going to start with the owner Sarah Giroux, the one behind the quality care, the business model, and the idea of getting you back to what matters most!
Sarah is married to Steve who has worked at Oxford Fire Department for over 20 years. They have four kids all attending Oxford schools and live on a homestead in Metamora. When not working Sarah’s favorite hobby is gardening and managing her large garden as well as chickens, ducks, turkeys and bees! Her kids are active in sports and keep her busy!
She began the journey of Summit Physical Therapy 10 years ago after taking some time off of work when her second child was born. When ready to go back she wanted to be able to treat patients how she liked to treat patients…with compassion, hands-on quality care, where patients felt heard and not just another number on the schedule. One blessing lead to another and she was able to open the doors on August 15,2016. She has grown to 5 PTs, one PTA, 3 technicians and one full time receptionist to create a dynamic team!
Sarah specializes in Dry needling specifically treating Migraines, TMJ, neck and back pain, and is Astym certified.
