Monday Reminder: Just Let Go

Holding on to stress, resentment, unrealistic expectations, or situations we cannot control can weigh heavily on our mental health. Letting go doesn’t mean giving up, it means making space for peace, growth, and healing.

When we release what no longer serves us, we create room for new opportunities, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of well-being.

This summer, challenge yourself to let go of one thing that is draining your energy. Whether it’s a negative thought pattern, a past mistake, or the pressure to be perfect, remember: your mental health deserves that space.

✨ Letting go is not a sign of weakness. It’s an act of self-care.

What is one thing you’re ready to release this season?

Summer can bring more freedom, but it can also bring pressure to say “yes” to everything. ☀️

This season, remember:
It’s okay to set boundaries with work, family, friends, and even social media. Healthy boundaries aren’t selfish. They support emotional wellness, prevent burnout, and create space for what matters most.

This summer, give yourself permission to choose balance over overwhelm. 💛

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. May we honor their courage, cherish their legacy, and never forget those who served our nation with bravery and love. 🇺🇸

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who nurture, protect, encourage, and love so deeply every single day. Today we celebrate the strength, compassion, and resilience of mothers in every season of life. 💐

We also hold space for the women who may find today difficult. Those grieving the loss of a mother, a child, strained relationships, infertility, or the ache of unmet hopes. Mother’s Day can bring both joy and sorrow, sometimes at the same time.

Wherever this day finds you, your feelings are valid. You do not have to carry them alone. Healing often begins when we allow ourselves to be seen, supported, and cared for too. 🤍

From all of us at OCC, we honor every story today.

🎓 College graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of a season filled with uncertainty, opportunity, pressure, excitement, and change.

For many graduates, this transition can feel both empowering and overwhelming. It’s okay to celebrate your accomplishments while also feeling anxious about what comes next.

Your worth is not defined by having a perfect plan, landing the perfect job, or moving at the same pace as everyone else. Life after college is not a race.

Take pride in the late nights, hard work, setbacks you overcame, and the person you became along the way. Growth doesn’t stop at graduation it continues in every new experience ahead. 🌿

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 your future does not have to be perfect to be meaningful.

Hotty Toddy! ❤️💙

Mental Health Awareness Month is here and this year, let’s focus on something simple but powerful: checking in. 💬

Not just “How are you?”
But “How are you, really?”

In a world that moves fast and expects us to keep up, it’s easy to ignore what’s happening internally. Stress builds. Emotions get pushed down. We tell ourselves we’ll deal with it later.

But your mental health deserves attention now. 🚨

This month, we invite you to:
• Pause and notice how you’re feeling
• Reach out instead of isolating
• Give yourself permission to rest without guilt

And if things feel heavier than you can carry alone, that’s where support matters. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers it’s about having a safe place to explore the questions.

We’re here when you’re ready. 💚
