What a month it has been! July was filled with meaningful moments, new memories, and plenty of reasons to smile.

From celebrating America 250 with a visit from the America 250 Freedom Truck and a special reading of the Declaration of Independence to enjoying the simple pleasures of summer in our greenhouse and courtyards, every day brought opportunities to connect and celebrate.

•Outings to the park and the Baseball Hall of Fame
•Grilling & Chilling with classic BBQ favorites

•Crafty creations on the neighborhoods

Thank you to our residents, families, volunteers, community partners, and staff for making July one to remember. We can't wait to see what August has in store!

There's a lot happening in Oxford, NY this weekend to celebrate our nation's 250th!!! Events start this evening!

Tomorrow we will be hosting our annual Cruise-In!! There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted. There will be two food trucks on site, Lil' Outpost and Lickety Split Ice Cream. A portion of their sales will go to our Volunteer Guild who supports resident programming and experiences.

Our Commissary will also be open for all of the Vets Home Merch you've been wanting as well as 50/50 raffle will be held.

Join us with your cars, friends, and family for a FREE event to support the Residents. This is one of their favorite events that happens each year!

The New York State Veterans Home at Oxford is currently hiring Food Service Workers!

You would be responsible for serving food and for keeping the areas where food is served both clean and in good order. You would participate in sanitation activities in dining areas and in other food service and preparation areas, handle kitchen supplies, and generally help to ensure that military veterans and their spouses are served their meals properly. This is a great opportunity to work with an awesome group of employees while getting to know some of our Country’s heroes at one of the best nursing homes anywhere! State employment with great benefits as well!
