Part of our exciting day included a science project! We wanted to find out which of the items we collected from our centers would sink or float when placed in water! We weighed several items against each other to see which weighed the most. We quickly learned that weight did not play a part with every object. We made predictions on each object and our littles sat on the edge of their seats to see whose predictions were correct! Our favorite discovery was the shovel! The “scooping part of the shovel”(😂) sank, however the handle floated almost straight up! We allowed the floating objects to float for the rest of the day so that we could see if allowing them to soak longer would make them sink! None sank! Very surprised! We love science!
As always, a super fun day full of many learning opportunities at Mini Milestones 🩷

What an amazing first week of VPK we have had! So much fun! We have met Amazing new friends and already learned so much about social skills, rules, safety, and so much more! I am so blessed to have such a great job!

Our first day of VPK was great❤️❤️❤️❤️ The kids are doing so great learning new things, new routines, new rules, new schedules, but they’re all working hard and they’re all very excited! They are making new friends and being so kind and so respectful. I can’t wait to post pictures later! ❤️❤️❤️
