Our Jill Mock is still supporting our community into her retirement 👏🏻
The McCullough-Hyde Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jill Mock, CPNP, to the Board of Trustees. A respected healthcare professional, community volunteer, and longtime supporter of McCullough-Hyde, Mock brings more than 35 years of experience advancing the health and wellness of families throughout the region.
A resident of Oxford, Mock devoted her career to nursing at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and throughout the greater Oxford area before retiring in 2025. She began her healthcare career as an obstetric nurse at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and joined Oxford Pediatrics in 1990, where she served for more than three decades as a pediatric nurse practitioner. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she cared for generations of local families and became a trusted advocate for children's health, wellness, and preventive care.
Mock and her husband, Ray, established the McCullough-Hyde’s Mock Family Excellence in Nursing Award and created an endowment fund to ensure the award's lasting support of nursing excellence. She is actively engaged in community health initiatives through volunteer leadership with the Coalition for a Healthy Community-Oxford Area and the Talawanda Health Coordinating Council. In addition, she has served on the Foundation's Community Granting Committee and is a member of the McCullough-Hyde Women's Giving Circle.

"Her experience as a healthcare professional, volunteer, and community advocate brings a unique and valuable perspective to our Foundation as we continue support McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and improve community health throughout our region."
Upon being nominated by the Board of Trustees, the Oxford City Council approved the appointment of Mock on June 17, 2026. The Mayor of Oxford and the Oxford City Council officially make appointments to the Board of Trustees, a practice which dates back to 1937 and is outlined in the wills of McCullough-Hyde’s original benefactors Elizabeth McCullough Heath, Daisey McCullough and Benjamin and Katheryn Hyde.
Mock's term on the Board of Trustees began July 1, 2026. She joins fellow trustees Karen Baker, John Harlan, Deloris Rome Hudson, Julie Jolliff, Amy Longcamp, Kathryn Mawer, Tim McGowan, Sibyl Miller and Pat Sidley in guiding the McCullough-Hyde Foundation's mission.
