The church has always been called to care for souls.

That means we need more than good intentions. We need men and women who are equipped to minister the Word of God wisely and faithfully.

At West Park Biblical Counseling, we train pastors and church members to provide biblical care that is rooted in Scripture and centered on Christ. Our training is available both in person and online, and we are an approved training center for both the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC) and the Fellowship of Biblical Counselors (FBC).

Three counselors are currently working through certification with us. If God is leading you to serve others through biblical counseling, we’d love to help you prepare.

God is never reluctant to forgive the repentant sinner.

We are often slow to confess, slow to humble ourselves, and slow to turn from our sin—but God's mercy in Christ is abundant toward those who truly repent.

“God is more ready to forgive me than I am ready to offend."

The gospel does not invite us to hide our sin or be proud of it.

It calls us to;
confess it,
forsake it,
and trust in Christ,

whose blood cleanses all who come to Him in faith.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
— 1 John 1:9

“Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
— Isaiah 55:7

There is no sinner beyond the reach of God's mercy—but there is also no salvation apart from repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
