Speech therapy is not just about helping someone speak.

It can mean helping a stroke survivor communicate again. Helping a patient swallow safely. Recognizing silent aspiration. Rebuilding cognition, confidence, and independence.

In this powerful episode, acute-care speech-language pathologist Molly McGrady reveals the life-changing work happening far beyond the words “speech therapy.”

Families and caregivers need to hear this conversation.

We're celebrating National Cow Day at Haven and In Good Company Podcast: Age Better!

"Why did the cow start a podcast?

Because she had a lot of moo-ving stories to share!"

Cows are the only animals that can stare at you for ten minutes straight and still somehow look like they're deep in philosophical thought.

One caring adult can change a child’s life.

Haven is proud to be part of this important public service announcement with The Social Connection and the Greene County Medical Society Foundation helping raise awareness about child sexual abuse prevention and the role every adult can play in protecting children.

The statistics are heartbreaking: at least 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 20 boys experience child sexual abuse before the age of 18. Often, the abuser is someone the child knows. But prevention is possible when communities stay informed, alert, and willing to take action.

To learn more, visit gcms.us and click on The Child Advocacy Center, Inc.

Together, we can help protect children, support families, and lift lives through kindness and action.

Thank you, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce!

Haven was honored to be part of Marshfield’s 147th Parade and Celebration as we came together to celebrate the Fourth of July and America’s 250th birthday.

It was a joy to drive in the parade, wave to so many families, and celebrate alongside a community filled with patriotism, tradition, and hometown pride.

Thank you to the City of Marshfield for having us and for continuing such a special Independence Day tradition. We were grateful to be a small part of it!
