We would like to congratulate Ian Hudspeth, on being awarded the J. Whitfield Miles Scholarship by the Alabama Funeral Directors Association. Ian has been attending Enterprise State community college where he has completed his academic courses and beginning this fall he will begin his studies at East Mississippi College of Mortuary Science while continuing to serve the families of our community here in Ozark. During his education, he will also be affiliated with Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler and York, Alabama, furthering his experience in funeral service.
East Mississippi College holds special significance for our funeral home family, as it is the alma mater of Ian’s father-in-law and mentor, Bill Sullivan.

A final drive by M&R Grocery for our friend and shipmate, Master Chief Morris Benjamin “Mo” Armstrong, before his interment at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. His store, M&R Grocery, was a place he loved, where he enjoyed meeting new people and discussing politics. Please continue to keep his precious family in your prayers.
