I want to be one of the first to wish all the mothers a happy Mother’s Day. Each Mothers Day we have our Decoration at Hixson Cemetery; this is where a lot of the families in this area have buried their family members. It’s a small cemetery on Green Hollow Road. If you have family members buried there we would like to ask you to help with a donation for the upkeep.
We try to keep it cleaned and mowed, but with gas prices going up and also getting a little older it’s getting harder to keep it up.
You can donate at Bank OZK or I will be over at the cemetery Friday,Saturday and Sunday. Also you can give it to Rocky Joe Smith, Billie Hall or Nick Trotter.
