LINDA DIANE LeCLAIRE (nee Gregory) - OBITUARY

Linda Diane LeClaire (née Gregory), of Pacific, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at the age of 75.

Born on September 16, 1950, to Lavelle and Novella (née Massey) Gregory, Linda lived a life full of creativity, adventure, laughter, and deep love for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Elman Gregory; and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Cannon, George LeClaire, Henry LeClaire, Bill LeClaire, and Paul LeClaire.

Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Wayne LeClaire; her beloved children, Jimmy Weber and wife Carol, Tracy Wall and husband Craig, Randy LeClaire and wife Debbie, and Sandy Klocke and husband Ken; her sisters, Patricia Cannon and Faye Adams and husband Bill; her treasured grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Morgan, Madison, Erika, Lauren, Aiden, Isabel, Kenny, Matt, Matthew, and Erica; and her great-grandchildren, Aurelia, Mateo, Marshall, Beau, Maggie, Mara, and Alexander, along with many cherished relatives and lifelong friends.

A faithful member of Pacific Baptist Church, Linda loved worshiping Jesus with her church family and could always be heard joyfully singing every hymn and worship song at full volume. Her warm spirit and welcoming smile made people feel instantly at home.
For more than 40 years, Linda worked as a hairdresser, at one point owning her own salon. But anyone who knew Linda knew her creativity reached far beyond hairstyling. She loved working with stained glass, especially creating kaleidoscopes, making jewelry, and spending hours at her craft table — oftentimes with grandchildren gathered around beside her making something of their own.

Linda lived life boldly and fearlessly. Whether she was riding dirt bikes, racing stock cars, camping outdoors, or line dancing to country music, she embraced every adventure with energy and enthusiasm. She loved car shows with Wayne, card games with friends, attending hair shows, traveling, taking walks, and keeping a close eye on her online FarmVille crops.

Her home reflected her vibrant personality — flower gardens always blooming, hummingbirds fluttering nearby, beautiful stained glass hanging in the kitchen, and bright colors and artwork on the walls. She was a great cook and family and friends will always remember her famous tacos and secret sauce, brown sugar ham sandwiches, corn casserole, and cake with buttercream frosting.

Linda will be remembered for her spunky personality, her fearless heart, her creativity, and the way she loved people deeply and wholeheartedly. She made life brighter, louder, more colorful, and far more fun for everyone lucky enough to know her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Mrs. LeClaire will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pacific Baptist Church, 2050 Old Gray Summit Road, Pacific, Missouri 63069.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pacific Baptist Church with Pastor Stan Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Midlawn Memorial Gardens, 7280 State Highway 47, Union, Missouri 63084.
