There’s something meaningful about hearing how Sycamore has felt from the other side of the counseling room. 🤍

We’re grateful for every person who has trusted our team with a piece of their story, and for those who have taken the time to share their experience afterward.

Here are a few words from people who have walked through our doors.

Welcome to Sycamore. 🤍

Whether you found us because you’re looking for a counselor, someone sent you our way, or you’re simply curious about what counseling could look like for you, we’re glad you’re here.

Around here, we’ll talk about relationships, anxiety, faith, family, the things we carry from our past, and plenty of the ordinary parts of being human that can be harder than we expected.

Consider this our official re-introduction. We hope you’ll stick around!

It’s time we reintroduce the faces behind Sycamore!! 🥳

👀 To start, here are 4 words to describe each of our therapists:

💭 Shelby-Rhea brings a grounded, thoughtful, creative, and relational presence to Sycamore.
🌞 Olivia is warm, curious, playful, and adventurous, with an energy that makes connection come naturally.
🌾 And Molly is gentle, compassionate, personable, and sincere, bringing a steady warmth of her own.

Each with different personalities, different strengths, and different ways of connecting with people who walk through our doors. Together, they’re part of what makes Sycamore feel like Sycamore!

Stay tuned each week as we get to know Shelby-Rhea, Olivia, and Molly a little more! 🤍

In a fast-paced society, stillness and solitude often feel counterproductive. However, in a society where there is a burnout epidemic, the anxiety and numbness we often feel are indicators that our souls are desperate for something that our society does not provide. Solitude provides a rest that a nap cannot provide. To learn more about solitude, check out this week's blog post, which you can find a link to in the comments.
