ted as a small general store in the town of Lowes, Kentucky. The family business was an important part of the daily lives of the families around Western Kentucky. In the late 1800's, caskets were made and sold at the general store. During the early 1900's, the Lowe family began funeral services. Lowe attended mortuary school and built a state-of-the-art funeral home in 1940. The family horse-drawn hearse soon gave way to newer funeral coaches. Andrea Milner Orr's parents, Judith and Billy Joe, soon expanded the family's trade by opening in other small Kentucky communities. Today, Andrea and Randy Orr offer the caring family service in five locations: Paducah, Lone Oak, Bardwell, Wickliffe, and Arlington. For over 150 years, Western Kentucky families have trusted Milner and Orr because we're hometown folks. We know the area, we know you, and we believe in families helping families.

Jeffery Lee Lucus, 76, of Kevil, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jeff had been hospitalized since an accident on July 5. For much of that time, he was unable to speak or communicate with his family. Following surgery on his throat, Jeff was finally able to speak again, giving his family the comfort of hearing his voice once more.

Jeff was born on September 30, 1949, at Riverside Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Marvin G. Lucus and Etta Mae Lucus.

A graduate of Heath High School, Jeff went straight to work doing what would become a lifelong career, truck driving. He spent 50 years behind the wheel before retiring in 2014 from Hartt Transportation Systems. Retirement, however, did not mean slowing down. Jeff turned his attention to farming, something that became both a passion and, as he might have called it, his “side gig.” He worked for Goodwin Farms, where he could be found driving tractors and combines and operating just about any piece of farm equipment that needed to be run.

When Jeff wasn’t working, he enjoyed goose hunting and was a proud University of Kentucky Wildcats fan. One of his favorite forms of entertainment was watching the stock car races at Paducah International Raceway.

Above everything else, family was the most important part of Jeff’s life. He cherished Delores, his wife of 44 years, and their two sons. His love for his family was not something he simply spoke about, it was something he showed through his actions every single day. To his sons, Jeff was more than their dad; he was their hero, and the example he set for them will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Delores Lucus of Kevil, Kentucky; two sons, Curtis Wesley (Lisa) Goode of Wickliffe, Kentucky, and Darrell (Brandee) Goode of Lone Oak, Kentucky; two sisters, Vicki Harless of Calvert City, Kentucky, and Betty (Mike) Moore of Bandana, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Perry Wayne Goode, Cody Hunter Goode, Jarrett Goode, Kyler Teitsort, and Landon Teitsort; one great-grandchild, Kesli Blake; and four nieces and nephews, Mark Harless, Teressa Harless, Ches Moore, and Zac Moore.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his niece, Jennifer Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Kevil, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jeff’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association. Donations may be mailed to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011, or made online through the Alzheimer’s Association donation page.

Shannon Lee Gregory passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at his residence in Ledbetter, Kentucky, at the age of 54.

Born on June 16, 1972, in Paducah, Kentucky, Shannon worked as a Superintendent at Williams Maintenance, where he earned the respect of his coworkers through his steady leadership, dependable nature, and commitment to doing the job right.

Shannon found joy in the things that brought excitement and connection to his life. He had a strong passion for riding, working on, and teaching others to ride motorcycles. He appreciated the freedom and energy they represented. He also enjoyed dirt track racing, a pastime that reflected his love of speed, competition, and the thrill of teaching others on the track.

Shannon also gave his time to others by coaching youth league football in Lone Oak, Kentucky. He took great pride in being involved with young athletes and helping guide them both on and off the field.

Above all else, Shannon’s greatest love was his family. His children, grandchildren, and wife of 11 years were the center of his world, and everything he did was rooted in his devotion to them. He treasured time spent with them and found his greatest happiness in their love and companionship. His family was the most important part of his life.

Shannon is survived by his wife, Bobbie Snow Gregory; three sons, Taylor Lehman of Paducah, Kentucky, Tyler Snow of Ledbetter, Kentucky, and Gage Lehman (Ashton) of Symsonia, Kentucky; two daughters, Heather Gardner (Michael) of Benton, Kentucky, and Tiffany Snow of Ledbetter, Kentucky,

Shannon also leaves behind ten grandchildren, Braxton Snow, Danielle Gardner, Braylynn Snow, Micheala Gardner, Amelia Gardner, Bryston Snow, Paisleigh Benton, Sutton Purcell, Brena Snow, and Kinsley Williams.

Shannon was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Gregory Walker.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah, with Bro. Tommy Dutton officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until the service hour of 7:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.

Theresa “Terri” Tucker Yates, age 74, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her home in Lexington.

Theresa was born in Clinton, Kentucky, on September 24, 1951 to the late Billy Joe and Oradell Tucker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. Theresa graduated from Murray State University in 1973, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Shortly after graduation, Theresa and her husband moved to the Lexington area where she began her 48-year career as a Registered Nurse. She had a heart for helping others, and enjoyed working at many hospitals and offices through the Lexington Area. Theresa had the pleasure to work alongside Dr. Alberto Castellanos and Dr. James Pezzi who held a special place in her heart during her time working alongside both doctors.

Outside of work, Theresa could often be found cooking. It was a passion she excelled at and loved to try new and exotic recipes for friends and family to enjoy. Theresa also enjoyed traveling. Whether it be Caribbean cruises or the sandy beaches of Florida, Theresa loved to explore new, tropical places with family and friends.

Theresa not only loved caring for her patients and family, but also animals. She loved cats and dogs, and often pet sat for friends and neighbors.

Theresa is survived by her two sisters, Valeria (Reno) Bodell of Cunningham, Kentucky and Phyllis (Danny) Whitlock of Clinton, Kentucky; her brother, Michael Joe (Geneva) Tucker of Arlington; two nieces, Katy (Rob) Eddleman and Mindy (Kris) Garrett; two great-nieces, Rorey Eddleman and Reese Eddleman, and a great-nephew, Dax Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Michael Yates; her brother, Randy Tucker; and her parents.

A memorial service will be planned at the Joy Center of Arlington first Baptist Church at a later date. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.

Judith Marie Hayden, 84, of Paducah, passed away on August 6, 2026, surrounded by her family. Judy was born in Graves County, Kentucky, to the late Virgil and Lucille Shanks Wilson.

In 1959, Judy married the love of her life, William Thomas Hayden, and they spent the next 67 years building a beautiful life together. She was a loving and devoted wife, and found some of her happiest, most peaceful moments sitting with Tommy on the front porch, gently swinging side by side.

Time spent with family brought Judy great joy. Countless meals were prepared and shared around the kitchen table, celebrating holidays and simple, ordinary days. Judy was an excellent cook and was well known for making delicious homemade desserts.

Judy had a special way of finding happiness in the simple things. She grew tomatoes and sold them from an honor-system stand at her home, and used the money to enjoy one of her favorite pastimes-playing bingo at the local Catholic church summer picnics.

She believed in “retail therapy” and took great pleasure in shopping for herself and everyone she loved. She took pride in finding a bargain and was eager to show others the wonderful things she found. She believed no outfit was complete without plenty of colorful jewelry. Judy retired from H&R Block after 42 years of dedicated service. She had a natural gift for numbers and math which made her exceptionally skilled at her work.

Judy is survived by her husband, Tommy Hayden; two daughters, Suzy Hack (Chester) of Paducah, Cathy Hayden (Kerrie Peck) of Paducah; two sons, Keith Hayden (Donna) of Paducah, Randy Hayden (Renee) of Paducah; one brother, Kenny Wilson (Joyce) of Mayfield; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Hendrickson, Linda Givens, and Mary Rose Carlson; three brothers, Vernon Wilson, Wayne Wilson, and Tommy Wilson.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Than officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Terry L. Anderson, 80, of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Gaither Suites in Paducah, Kentucky. He was born on March 16, 1946, in Watertown, South Dakota, to the late Guy Irvin and Hazel Bernice Banick Anderson.

Terry was a man who built his life with determination and pride. He was the former owner and operator of Pizza By The Pound, where his dedication and strong work ethic were evident in the way he served his community and carried himself in business. He was a retired engineer from EMI-Processing, where he was respected for his skill, reliability, and commitment to doing the job well. Throughout his career, Terry earned the admiration of those who worked alongside him and those who knew him best.

Beyond his work, Terry found great happiness in the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with those he was on the course with. He was known as a Ballard County goose hunting guide, a role that reflected both his knowledge of the outdoors and his enjoyment in sharing that experience with others. Whether he was in the field, on the water, or simply enjoying the fresh air, Terry felt most at home when surrounded by the natural world he loved so much.

Terry also had a lifelong appreciation for antique cars, and he took great pride in the vehicles he admired and owned. Among them, the 57 Chevy held a special place in his heart as his favorite. He also loved his 78 Ford Bronco, a vehicle that reflected his practical nature and his fondness for dependable, classic machines.

Terry is survived by his wife, Lenora “Sue” Haynes Anderson of Paducah; his step-children, Amanda Sue (Corey) Menz of Paducah, Bryan (Shannon) Carrigan of Brookport, IL, Jeffrey Dale (Stacey) Baker of Kansas City, MO, and Dustin Biglin; his five grandchildren, Brayln Menz, Tyler O’Brien, Faye O’Brien, Austin Moore and Jadyn Carrigan along with several nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bonnie Rae Webb Smith and Gail Beverly Franklin.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. Burial will follow at LaCenter Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.

Bobby D. Reed, 64, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Baptist Health Paducah. Bobby was born on June 16, 1962, in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a graduate of Reidland High School and of Mid-America School of Mortuary Science in 1993. Bobby was a Kentucky-licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and served as Manager for Milner & Orr Funeral Home until his retirement. He was also a former Tennessee-licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and worked in Nashville and Columbia, Tennessee. Bobby was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ, where he served as the church pianist. He was a former member of the West Kentucky Gospel Music Association. Bobby loved his little fur babies that brought him great happiness and companionship.

He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Sallee of Paducah, Kentucky, and Melissa Jones of Smithland, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Bishop Erby Reed and Shirley Freeman Reed; and brother, Leonard Reed.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ with Sister Trish Watson and Rev. Tony Davidson officiating.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, Kentucky, with Rev. Jason Logsdon officiating.

David Ewing Phillips, 75, of Wickliffe, Kentucky, passed away on August 3, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. David was born on September 17, 1950, to the late “Sis” and Pauline Phillips.

For 46 years, David faithfully worked at the Wickliffe Paper Mill, where his dedication and strong work ethic earned the respect of coworkers and friends alike. His commitment to serving others extended far beyond his career. He proudly served as Mayor of Wickliffe for eight years, a role he truly loved. David was deeply civic-minded and found great joy in working to improve the community he loved. His service and leadership reflected his genuine desire to help others, and he was honored to be named a Kentucky Colonel.

Above every title and accomplishment, David treasured his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather whose greatest happiness came from caring for those he loved. He was a true caregiver in every sense of the word. For many years, he lovingly cared for his wife and daughter without hesitation or complaint, making sure they never questioned how deeply they were loved or how faithfully he would be there for them. No burden was ever too heavy for him to help carry, and if someone he loved had a problem, David wanted to fix it. He loved fiercely and selflessly, always putting his family’s needs before his own. His family was the center of his world, and they knew without question that they were deeply loved. David’s family also finds comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue through a great-grandson on the way, who will proudly carry his middle name.

His Christian faith was the foundation of his life. As a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Church in Cairo, Illinois, David lived out his beliefs through kindness, compassion, and steadfast love for others. For the past 15 years, he faithfully sent a daily devotion to his grandchildren, a simple but powerful expression of his desire to share God’s Word and encourage them in their faith. Those daily messages will remain a treasured reminder of his enduring love.

David never met a stranger. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in others, he was known and respected throughout the community. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a conversation, or simply making someone smile, he had a way of making people feel valued. He also had a lifelong love for music, which brought him great joy and added to the warmth he shared with everyone around him.

David’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him. His family feels the tremendous loss of the man who was their protector, provider, encourager, and constant source of strength. Though their hearts are broken, they find comfort in knowing his legacy of faith, love, generosity, and service will continue to inspire generations to come.

David is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jackie Phillips; two daughters, Andrea (Howie) Phillips Stevens of Nolensville, Tennessee, and Codie Phillips of Wickliffe; and three grandchildren, Allie (Johnny) Cerisano, Gabbie Stevens, and Connor Stevens.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Paul Phillips and Tony Phillips; and his parents.

Sharon Lee Kiebler, age 72, of Lone Oak, passed away peacefully at her earthly home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 4:54 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was born on December 1, 1953, at Riverside Hospital to the late William C. and Doris Day Kiebler. She lived the first 19 years of her life in Livingston County before moving to Lone Oak in January 1972.

After moving to Paducah, Sharon and her family began attending Lone Oak First Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the choir and remained active in the church as long as her health allowed. When she became homebound, she faithfully watched the church's live stream each Sunday.

Sharon worked for Sears and Roebuck for 35 years before retiring to care for her mother.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Riley of Paducah; her brother, Johnny Kiebler of Paducah; her best friend of more than 50 years, Pam Green; her nieces, Lynette (Jon) Evans and Tina (Joe) Childress of Paducah, Sara (Billy) Hammock of West Moreland, Tennessee, Elaine (Jeremy) Dowdy of Benton, Kentucky, Stacy Marshall of Fredonia, Kentucky, Sarah Green, and Samantha Green; her nephews, Terry (Carrie) Kiebler of Portland, Tennessee, Kevin (Courtney) Kiebler and Josh Riley of Paducah, Kentucky, and Zach Kiebler of Carbondale, Illinois; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Kerry, Ricky, Bobby, and Eddy Kiebler; and her grandparents, Roy and Sallye Kiebler and Sam and Ada Day.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Livingston County between Joy and Lola, Kentucky.

Richard “Rich” Lee Ogle, 53, of Ledbetter, Kentucky, passed away on August 2, 2026, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, Kentucky. He was born on May 23, 1973, in Tacoma, WA.

Richard was a proud veteran who served nine years in the United States Army after graduating from high school. Following his military service, he became a surgical technician and traveled to different states throughout his career.

Richard had a great personality and a special ability to make people laugh. He enjoyed life and was known for bringing humor and smiles to those around him. He was a devoted fan of the University of Kentucky basketball and loved listening to Toby Keith. He would turn up Toby Keith’s music and play it loudly whenever he had the chance.

Richard is survived by his son, Dakota Lee Ogle, and his daughter, Macy Jean Ogle, both of Jackson, MO; his mother, Donna Ogle of Ledbetter, KY; his sisters, Rochelle George (Tom) of Paducah, KY and Robin Livesay (Chuck) of Ledbetter, KY; his nieces, Skyler Plementosh (Matt) of Williamsburg, KY, and Charlee George of Marion, KY; his nephews, T.J. George of Salem, KY, and Hunter Downs (Ashlyn) of Waynesburg, KY; his only aunt, Judy Ogle of California; his two great-nephews, Henry Plementosh and Elliott Downs; and two special cousins, Angela Binford of Oregon and Mark Byrum of California.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry L. Ogle; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Minnie Ogle; and his maternal grandparents, Louis and Betty Sharp.

Richard will be remembered for his service to his country, his laughter, his outgoing personality, and the joy he brought to those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Laura Dotson-Dodson, born on June 1, 1971, in San Francisco, California, passed away on August 1, 2026, in Paducah, Kentucky.

One of Laura’s greatest joys was crocheting. She found peace and purpose in creating with her hands, and her work reflected the care and attention she brought to every part of her life. She also had a deep affection for animals, and her gentle nature extended naturally to the creatures she cared for. Her love of animals was yet another expression of her tender spirit and her appreciation for the comfort and companionship they brought. Above all, Laura was a loving mom, grandmother, and wife. Her family was the center of her world, and she devoted herself to them with unwavering love and loyalty. She took great pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, and she cherished the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. Her home was a place of love, laughter, and support, and her presence brought a sense of stability and warmth that will be deeply missed. As a wife, she shared her life with devotion and grace, building a partnership grounded in care and commitment.

Laura is survived by her husband of four years, Stephen Dodson of Paducah; a daughter, Kayla Davidson of Paducah; three grandchildren, Hailee Rose Davidson, John Curtis Swanson, and Sophia Lea Davidson; and a brother, Tom (Cindy) Dotson of Evansburg, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Dotson and Karen Allmon Dotson; and a brother, Sam Dotson.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
