Today, on World Lung Cancer Day, we're raising awareness about the importance of low-dose CT lung cancer screening.

Good news for Kentuckians: Lung cancer screening is fully covered by Medicare and most private insurance plans if you answer YES to the following:

✅ Are you between 50 and 80 years old?
✅ Do you have a 20 pack-year smoking history or more (for example, smoking 1 pack per day for 20 years)?
✅ Are you a current smoker, or have you quit within the past 15 years?

If you answered yes, talk with your healthcare professional about the benefits and risks of lung cancer screening.

Early detection can make all the difference.
