🌿 Botanical Solutions Apothecary is Growing 🌿

It’s been a little while since we’ve been active here, but behind the scenes the vision for Botanical Solutions has been growing into something much bigger.

As we return, we’re expanding beyond the idea of a traditional apothecary and working toward becoming a community hub for ethnobotany, plant medicine research, harm reduction, natural-products science, conservation, and responsible entheogenic education.

Our philosophy is simple:

Relationship before consumption.

We want to help people better understand the plants and medicines they’re interested in — the science, the culture, the risks, the ecology, and the responsibility that comes with working with them.

Our future goals include:

🌱 An ethnobotanical teaching garden and living collection

📚 Classes, workshops, and educational resources

🧠 Entheogenic education and resource navigation

🛡️ Harm-reduction education

🧪 Natural-products chemistry and botanical science

🌿 Cultivation, propagation, and conservation programs

🤝 A trusted network of researchers, clinicians, educators, and community partners

🕊️ Advocacy for responsible access, drug-policy reform, and entheogenic freedom

We’re also looking to connect with growers, researchers, clinicians, educators, cultural practitioners, nonprofits, advisors, investors, donors, and other mission-aligned partners who may want to help shape what Botanical Solutions becomes next.

This is a new chapter for us, and we’re excited to start sharing more again.

Those little root b**r plants, Ploygala Paniculata, contain methyl salicylicate which has minor stimulant and analgesic properties when ingested in safe amounts. But if you combine it with a predose of cinnamon, clove, black pepper, chamomile, and nutmeg oil, it can block certain metabolic enzymes that break down the compound. At that point the effects become more psychedelic/euphoric. Some people call that oilhuasca. The bill for the Puna Makai Alternative Route just died at County council level. It took 40 years just yo get this bill heard, and it just died because more people from Hilo anc Panaewa came to testify against it. We have no Alternative routes put of Puna... I'd the Lava comes and cuts use off, there is no way out.. let that sink in. The people of Puna, Hawaiian families included will be cut off from the rest of the island if the lava decides to flow that direction... families could die because of other people's selfishness. The bill already removed Hawaiian Homelands from the study. That land was NOT going to be included because they did not want to be included, but that doesn't mean that the bill had to die. Now how many more people will suffer because of this? How bad will traffic have to get on HWY 130 before people realize that this was the ONLY chance we had to get a study done for this. And this was just for the study!!! SMH.
