🤢Cyclospora got you down? 🤢

For individuals with sensory processing difficulties, things like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are amplified and very disturbing to their body systems.

Individuals may need additional supports outside of medication, rest, and a BRAT diet. The symptoms by this nondiscriminatory illness at times can even create traumatic or anxiety-related responses to feeling ill or having a stomach ache.

I created a graphic, 👀 see below, with some sensory strategies that may assist with regulatiom during stomach illnesses, such as cyclospora. They will not alleviate the symptoms, but they will help with comfort and coping.

Outdoor fun in 92*F. Does anyone else have trouble keeping them indoors on extra hot days like these??? Thank goodness for the chalk paint, water table, bubbles, and sprinkler!

So who would be interested in a small workshop including building sensory strategiezs for their child or family members? I was thinking about having icons and the format of a schedule available for people to customize and to learn about sensory sources. Would be 10$ a person and everyone would get to take their sensory items home. Any takers?
