Della Ann Anderson
September 22, 1964 – May 28, 2026
Born in Palatka, Florida

With hearts heavier than words can hold, we announce the passing of our mother, Della Ann Anderson, who left this world on May 28, 2026, in Largo, Florida, after a long and courageous fight with congestive heart failure. She was 61 years old.

Della was born on September 22, 1964, in Palatka, Florida, to Carl Vester Bellamy and Katherina Elisabeth Bellamy (née Kline), who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford Lee Anderson, with whom she is now reunited in heaven.

She is survived by siblings Deborah Ruth Miller and David Lloyd Bellamy, her three children Clifford Lee Anderson Jr.(wife Nicole Danielle Anderson), Anthony Michael Anderson (fiancé Christa Nichole Collins), and Katharina Ann Anderson, as well as her five grandchildren who brought her exponential joy: Gabrielle Londyn, Elijah Lee, Gracelyn Ruth, Asher Michael, and Cambria Nichole Anderson.

To us—her children & grandchildren—Mom aka Nana… was the strongest woman we have ever known. She lived her life with a selflessness that is rare in this world. She gave her whole heart to others, always choosing kindness, always choosing service, always choosing love. She lived simply, humbly, and with a spirit that never stopped giving.

Mom found her greatest happiness in Motherhood. Children kept her young, kept her laughing, and brought her a light that never dimmed. She showed up for every game, every recognition, and every small moment that mattered. Even when life was difficult, she made home feel full, warm, and alive.

Mom’s southern cooking was legendary—her chicken and dumplings, fried catfish, and her famous banana pudding were more than recipes; they were memories, comfort, and love served from her hands to our hearts.

Mom faced every challenge with extraordinary resilience and grace. Even in her final days, she fought with every ounce of strength she had. She wanted more time with us, but God called her home, and she is now at peace with Dad.
Though our hearts feel a void, we know she is finally free from illness and forever at peace.

A graveside burial service, organized by Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Ricky Bybee of Trinity Baptist Church, will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Palatka Memorial Gardens. All who loved her are welcome to attend and honor her life.

Angels like her don’t come often, and when they leave, the space they filled can never be replaced.
We will miss her deeply.
We will honor her always.
And we will carry her love and legacy forward for the rest of our lives.

We love you, Mom and Nana, Always.

“Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.”
Proverbs 31:31
