Keri and Ben recently had the privilege of attending the Selected Independent Funeral Homes Annual Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky.

The meeting brought together owners of family-owned funeral homes from across the country to share ideas, learn from one another, and discuss better ways to care for the families and communities we serve.

At Rhone Funeral Home, we are always looking for ways to grow, improve, and provide an even higher level of service. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a member of this respected organization and to learn alongside some of the very best professionals in funeral service.

It was an honor to represent our funeral home and our community. We returned home encouraged, inspired, and even more committed to serving families with compassion, excellence, and personal care.

Celebrating 10 Years of Service | 2016–2026

For 10 years, the doors of Rhone Funeral Home have been open to serve this community.

But this building represents so much more than a place of business.

Inside these walls, we have witnessed families come together. We have heard stories of lives well lived. We have shared tears, laughter, memories, prayers, and goodbyes. Most importantly, we have been given the privilege of walking alongside families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, our hearts are filled with gratitude.

To every family who has placed their trust in Rhone Funeral Home—thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to care for the people you love. Thank you for trusting us with their stories and memories. Thank you for recommending us to your friends and neighbors. And thank you for allowing our funeral home to become a part of this wonderful community.

We understand that your trust is earned one family at a time, and it is something we will never take for granted.

Much has changed since we opened our doors in 2016, but our commitment remains the same: to serve every family with compassion, dignity, respect, and the personal care they deserve.

As we look back on these first 10 years, we are incredibly thankful. And as we look ahead, we remain committed to serving this community and its families for many years to come.

From all of us at Rhone Funeral Home, thank you for 10 years of trust, support, and friendship. It has truly been our honor to serve you.

THEN & NOW | Celebrating 10 Years ❤️
2016–2026

As we celebrate 10 years of Rhone Funeral Home, we’ve been looking back at where we started—and remembering why we started.

Rhone Funeral Home began with a vision to create a funeral home where families would feel genuinely cared for. We wanted to provide a place that was welcoming, comfortable, and centered around one simple purpose: serving people well during some of the most difficult days of their lives.

In 2016, that vision became a reality when we opened the doors of Rhone Funeral Home.

Like any new business, we started with plenty of hopes, a lot of hard work, and faith in what we believed we could build. What we could not have known then was just how much this community would support us and how many wonderful families would eventually walk through our doors.

Over the last 10 years, a lot has changed. We’ve grown. Our team has grown. Our services and outreach have grown. And we’ve learned a great deal along the way.

But the reason we are here hasn't changed.

We still believe every family deserves to be treated with compassion, dignity, honesty, and respect. We still believe funeral service is about much more than a business—it is about people, relationships, and being there when someone needs you most.

These pictures remind us of where we started and how far we have come. But more than anything, they remind us of the people who made it possible.

To every family who has trusted us, every friend who has encouraged us, every employee who has served alongside us, and this wonderful community that has supported us—THANK YOU.

We are incredibly grateful for these first 10 years, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come.

Now we want to hear from you!
Do you remember when Rhone Funeral Home first opened? How long have you known us? Share a memory or simply say hello in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!

This September, Rhone Funeral Home is honored to celebrate 10 years of serving families in Palestine, Anderson County, and the surrounding communities.

When we opened our doors in 2016, we did so with a simple purpose: to care for families with compassion, dignity, and respect during some of life's most difficult moments.

Over the past decade, you have welcomed us, trusted us, encouraged us, and allowed us the privilege of caring for your families. That trust is something we have never taken for granted.

We are thankful for every family who has placed their confidence in us, every community member who has supported us, and every member of our team who has helped us fulfill our mission of service.

As we celebrate this milestone, we aren't just looking back at how far we've come—we're looking forward to many more years of serving this community we are so proud to call home.

From our family and our entire staff, thank you for 10 wonderful years.

It has truly been our honor to serve you.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating a very special member of the Rhone Funeral Home family — Barney! 💙🐶

Barney may not answer the phones or make funeral arrangements, but he has an important job around here. Whether he’s greeting visitors, making our staff smile, or simply offering a quiet presence on a difficult day, Barney has a way of bringing a little extra comfort and joy wherever he goes.

We’re thankful for the unconditional love, companionship, and happiness our four-legged friends bring into our lives.

From Barney and all of us at Rhone Funeral Home, Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Help us celebrate! Drop a picture of your dog in the comments — Barney would love to meet them! 🐕❤️
