If my mom was still alive, she would probably remind me again about what a bad teenager I was! Well…. If my mom was alive I’d tell her if she was involved and present in those days 1986-1989 (Gen X) perhaps I would not have been feral. I swear parents did not pay attention to us! No talking about grades, relationships and future goals. We were left into the wild. I have to say changing myself and my mindset really made me who I am. I was so petrified of failing out of college that I persevered . I went on to graduate school. It was the hardest program and I graduated at the top of my class. I also didn’t know I had ADHD until I was 46 years old. That would explain a lot. Meanwhile I’m here to share and help others reach their goals and dreams. If I can do it, so can you! ❤️Liz

Madeline Friedman, my daughter has always been my biggest fan. This was 8 years ago when she graduated from Oxbridge Academy. So much has changed over these past years, but not our bond! If I can give you any advice about raising your kids, be with them every step of the way cheering them on, guiding them with love and support, and letting them be the person they were meant to be.

Marriage is supposed to be a partnership where both people make decisions together. It’s unfortunate how many marriages fail because of one spouse making all the decisions. Partners, especially women, need to feel safe, seen and heard. If they don’t feel safe or included in decisions, that’s when things go wrong. What do you think?

Stop waiting and start living your life. Enjoy what’s in front of you before it’s too late. We spend all our days and nights working and not taking enough time to live life and enjoy all of God’s blessings.

Until it happens to you, you have no idea about it! You have no clue about unfortunate situations until it happens to you.As a therapist, and also a human, I have experienced some very unfortunate situations that I was left with. The best thing to do is get help and figure out how to move through it.

Divorce, dealing with a
a sick parent, being in an unhealthy abusive relationship, sexual assault, financial struggles, death of a loved one, infertility, substance abuse, mentally ill family member, having a special needs child, these are examples of until it happens to you.
