Important Medical Ma*****na Card Update Effective July 27, 2026

The Florida Office of Medical Ma*****na Use (OMMU) is changing the requirements for renewing your Medical Ma*****na Card.

**Beginning July 27, 2026, you must have an ACTIVE physician certification with active orders in the Medical Ma*****na Use Registry (MMUR) before you can apply for or renew your state Medical Ma*****na Card.

If your physician certification has expired, the state will not allow you to renew your card until your certification has been renewed.

To avoid any interruption in your access to medical ma*****na, please schedule your renewal appointment before your certification expires.

If you are unsure when your certification expires or need to schedule your renewal, please call our office. We're happy to help keep you on track.
