With more than 20 years of healthcare and community service experience, LaTrisha has built her career around helping people feel heard, respected and supported.

“As an Executive Director, I believe leadership extends beyond the walls of the office. I pride myself on being visible, involved and engaged in the community—serving others, building partnerships and working together to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.”

Independence can mean continuing to enjoy familiar routines, favorite activities and meaningful time at home.

Sometimes, the right amount of support can make those moments easier to continue. It may look like assistance with a meal, companionship during the day, help with personal routines or simply having someone dependable nearby.

The goal is not to take over. It is to provide support in a way that respects each person’s preferences, comfort and independence.

Home isn't about doing everything yourself. It's about having the support that lets you keep doing the things that bring you joy.

Whether that's painting, gardening, baking, taking a morning walk, or simply spending time with the people you love, the right support helps make those moments possible.

At Home Halo, we believe care should empower independence—not replace it. Our caregivers are there to lend a helping hand while helping older adults continue living life on their own terms, in the place they call home.

Sometimes “How are you?” doesn’t open the door to the conversation someone really needs.

Try asking questions that invite more than a quick answer, like:
“What made you smile today?”
“What’s something you’d like to do this week?”
“Is there anything I can help with?”

Small, thoughtful questions can lead to meaningful conversations and help older loved ones feel seen, heard, and supported.
