Aviata Health Group is incredibly proud to share a sneak peek of People Worth Caring About, an upcoming national docuseries created in partnership with Florida Health Care Association.

We are especially proud that Aviata at Emerald Shores was selected as one of only eight skilled nursing centers across Florida invited to participate in this meaningful project.

Filming took place this past April, capturing the people, relationships, and moments that make long-term care so special. The series is expected to begin airing in late fall/early winter, and we cannot wait for audiences to see the heart behind the care provided every day at Emerald Shores.

This opportunity is a wonderful reflection of the compassion and dedication of our team members and the incredible residents who make our community what it is.

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing self-care experience when a wonderful Mary Kay representative visited to provide complimentary facials.

The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and a little extra pampering as everyone enjoyed taking time to relax and feel their very best. Thank you to our Mary Kay representative for making the day so special and helping create such a fun and uplifting experience for our residents.

🏆 Sharawn Bradley, CNA, Aviata at San Jose - $2,500 Career Climb Scholarship

This year, FHCA awarded $300,000 in scholarships to 88 long term care professionals across Florida, supporting caregivers and team members as they pursue advanced nursing education, professional certifications, and career development opportunities. These scholarships reflect a shared commitment to strengthening the future of long-term care through continued learning and leadership.
