I feel like I always post about this herb, but it’s such a good one and I feel like it’s underestimated and doesn’t get enough attention.

I’m always talking about the benefits of using this herb for women’s health, but there’s also some other uses for it as well. It has been used in older herbal traditions for digestion discomfort, fluid movement, and respiratory support - amongst other things!

In traditional astrological herbalism, Vitex has been associated with the moon 🌙, which feels rather fitting for a plant so deeply connected in herbal tradition with cycles, rhythm, fertility, and the changing seasons of a woman’s life.

All of the herbs I work with are because I feel a deep connection to them, some of them I don’t actually use regularly myself, but this one is one that I do use, and I have seen the magic of this herb with balancing my menstrual cycle.

June is such a potent month for manifesting with the astrology transits!

On June 9, Venus and Jupiter dance together in cancer. This is probably one of the best days to manifest out of the whole entire year.

On June 30, Jupiter moves into Leo, which is going to expand that creative, heart centered Leo energy!

Milky oats is one of the first herbs I think of for nervous system support. An amazing trophorestorative herb, meaning they don’t just stimulate or sedate, they nourish and rebuild over time.

This is one of my favorite herbs for burnout, overstimulation, exhaustion, and that feeling of running on fumes for way too long.
