Iāve lost weight. But some of my favorite changes have nothing to do with the number on the scale.
Iām stronger. Iām more intentional about protein. Iāve learned that strength training matters. And Iāve become a lot more aware of what my body actually needs.
And yesāI use a GLP-1 as part of my own journey.
But one thing I tell my patients all the time is this: the medication is a tool. It doesnāt replace taking care of your body.
The goal isnāt just to weigh less.
Itās to protect muscle šŖš½, build habits you can actually maintain, feel better in your body, and create something that still works for you long-term.
So if the scale hasnāt moved the way you hoped this week, look again. š¤
Are your clothes fitting differently? š
Are you getting stronger? šŖš½
Are you eating more protein? š„©
Do you have more energy? ā”ļø
Are you more consistent than you were six months ago?
That counts too. š¤
Whatās one NON-SCALE win youāre proud of right now? Tell me below.
