Maybe it was the way you snapped at someone you love. Maybe it was going quiet when part of you wanted to reach out. Maybe it was the thing you promised yourself you'd never do, done again, before you could catch it.

We all have moments we can't quite explain to ourselves. Moments where some older part of us took the wheel, and we just watched it happen.

What if those moments aren't proof that something is wrong with you? What if they're a nervous system doing exactly what it once learned to do, in a moment when that made complete sense? Your brain moves through three states. Once you can see which one you're in, a lot of what felt confusing starts to settle. Not as a flaw to fix. As a map you can finally read and understand.

when my oldest son was about 8 and threw a boot at me. How I responded did not help the situation and I needed new tools because what I was doing was not working. Find out how I shifted the way I was looking at what was happening for him and how I turned this around without yelling.

A place to slow down, be met, and remember you're not doing this alone.

Once a month, we gather. Not to fix anything, not to perform, just to be together, to check in with what's alive, and to be witnessed by people who won't try to fix you. We open with a short teaching, then make room for whoever wants to share, ask, or simply listen.

Come as you are. Bring what's heavy. Bring what's tender. Or come just to sit in good company for a while. There's nothing you have to say and nothing you have to bring but yourself.

These circles grow out of our Healing Story work: we practice listening deeply and reflecting back what we hear, including the strengths and resilience already there. We heal in connection, and we just need a space safe enough to let it happen.
