“Why do I have lines above my eyebrows after Botox?” 🤔

This is one of the most common questions we get after treatment!

After Botox relaxes certain forehead muscles, the muscles above your brows may become more active to help you lift your eyebrows. This temporary compensation can create horizontal lines higher on the forehead—often called “compensatory lines.”

The good news? It doesn’t necessarily mean your Botox didn’t work. It may simply mean your treatment needs a small adjustment at your follow-up appointment. Every face is unique, and sometimes it takes a little fine-tuning to achieve the most balanced, natural-looking result.
