WALES — Joseph M. Lynch, 73, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on June 9, 1952, Joe was the son of the late Joseph Lynch Jr. and Marie A. (Griffin) Lynch. He was raised in Springfield and later lived in Canton before settling in Wales in 1995, where he made his home and became a valued member of the community.

Joe worked for many years as an electronic technician. Outside of work, he embraced the outdoors and found joy in skiing, hiking, and spending time in nature. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Joe valued faith, service, and fellowship.

Above all else, Joe was a family man. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Jean Lynch, and a proud father to his three sons: Joseph Lynch IV and his girlfriend, Meg Downey; John “Jack” Lynch; and Jameson Lynch. His greatest joy was being “Papa” to his cherished granddaughter, Evelyn Jean Lynch.

Joe is also survived by his loving siblings, Peg Lynch, Steve Lynch, and Ellen Lynch, along with many extended family members and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher's Church on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Joan Frances Boulette, a beloved resident of Monson and Sturbridge, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on January 25, 1938, in Worcester, Joan devoted her life to her home and family, creating a loving and welcoming environment for all.

Joan shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, George Boulette, Jr. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her. She also found comfort and companionship in her cherished dog, Boom Boom.

She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Ernest Johnson, Ingrid Valley, and Donald Johnson; her grandson, Michael Dembkowski; and her son-in-law, Michael Beaucage.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Bonnie Boulette-Andersen and her husband Allen, Laurie Boulette and her wife Mary, and Sherry Boulette, and her best friend Karla Croft Harder. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a treasured great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Each of them held a special place in her heart.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.

Joan will be remembered for her deep love of family and her legacy continues to live on in all who knew her.

James “Jimmy” Leo Cahill, Jr., 55, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in High Point, NC. Jimmy was born in Ware, MA on March 29, 1970, to Joyce (Bengle) Cahill and the late James Leo Cahill, Sr (1992). Jimmy is survived by his mother, Joyce (Bengle) Nelson, sisters: Lisa Moynahan (Sean), Jacqueline Kozlik (Anthony), nephews: Joshua Moynahan (Chelsea), Nathan Moynahan (Hannah), Adam Kozlik (Nicole), and niece: Amanda Charier (Corey). He also leaves behind stepbrothers, William Nelson Jr. (Leslie), Gerald Nelson (Stacy), Robert Nelson (Cheryl), and step sister Dianna Nelson and their children. He will also be missed by his dogs, Dakota and Dottie. Jimmy was employed by Drillers Services, LLC as a delivery truck driver. Prior to that, he worked for Ryder in New York for several years before transferring to North Carolina as a tractor and trailer mechanic. He liked fishing and hunting and enjoyed playing cards and games. Jimmy's love for gardening was evident by his large vegetable garden, beautiful flower beds and fruit trees. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20 at 11am at St. Anne's Cemetery on Main St in Three Rivers. Wilbraham- Jane C. Appleby, age 76, a longtime East Longmeadow and Monson resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, following a long period of declining health. She was born in Gouverneur, NY, daughter of the late William and Beulah (Clark) Appleby. Jane was a 1967 graduate of Gouverneur High School and a 1971 graduate of St. Lawrence University where she majored in mathematics. After pursuing graduate studies at SUNY Binghamton, Jane made her way to Massachusetts. Jane joined MassMutual Life Insurance Company in 1973 and spent most of her career working on corporate taxes. She retired as a Second Vice President in 2000.

Jane enjoyed classical music, old movies, and watching sporting events, especially tennis. During her MassMutual years, she participated in bowling, volleyball, and softball leagues. She loved living in the country, travelling to national parks, and visiting Disney. She was a devoted St. Lawrence University alumna, fundraising for the college, connecting with classmates, and attending reunions. She was mother to several beloved cats over the years and was a good aunt to her friends’ dogs. One of Jane’s greatest pleasures in life was enjoying a meal with good friends.

Jane was predeceased by her brother William Appleby, her sister Phylis Tokos, and her nephew Martin Tokos. She is survived by her nephew Joseph (Kathy) Tokos of Minnesota; niece-in-law Lynn Tokos of NY; grandnieces Lorna Harp, Sarah Tokos, Chaya Charles, and Bianca Phillips; and cousins Deb Fogarty, Beverly Miles, and Dave Appleby. She also leaves her longtime friends, Jackie Aiken of Belchertown, Rhae Kennedy of Wilbraham, and Anita Turner of NY. The family would like to thank the wonderful healthcare workers that took such loving care of Jane as her health declined.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA. There will be a calling hour at the church starting at 10:00 am. Donations may be made in memory of Jane to the St. Lawrence University Alumni Fund (www.stlawu.org).

Ronald John Lamb

Ronald J. Lamb, 57, of Ware, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026. Born on May 9, 1968, in Palmer, he was the son of Ira and Barbra Lamb.

Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He dedicated his life to raising his four children and loving his three grandchildren. On weekends, you could often find him coaching his children’s basketball and baseball teams or cheering them on from the sidelines at football, cheerleading competitions, and soccer games. He never missed a game or performance and took great pride in supporting his family.

Some of Ron’s favorite memories were made while vacationing on Cape Cod with his wife and children. Whether it was trips for ice cream or competitive mini-golf games, he cherished every moment spent together. In recent years, he discovered a love for camping and especially enjoyed bringing his grandchildren along on trips. Beyond his family, Ron adored his dogs as if they were his own children. He was also a dedicated Boston sports fan who loved watching games with his family.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Barbra and Ira Lamb, his son Matthew Lamb, and his siblings Malcolm “Jimmy” Toney, and Mildred Hurley.

He leaves behind his loving wife Debra Lamb, his son Zackary Lamb, and his daughters Amber Raymond with her husband Andrew, and Ashley Chevrette with her husband Mark. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Aiden Raymond, Marley Chevrette, and Austin Coporale, along with his best friend Christopher Ingalls and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2-4pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Cindy (Lopata) Dupre, born December 2, 1957, formerly of Three Rivers, MA, and most recently of Warren, MA, passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2026. For 25 years, Cindy devoted herself to working with special needs children — a calling that defined her and reflected the kind heart she brought to everyone she met. She found deep fulfillment in her work and loved being remembered by the people whose lives she touched. Her hands were rarely still. She was a gifted crafter, painter, and stained glass artist, and she found deep joy in creating beautiful things. She loved animals — especially dogs — and they always seemed to know they had a friend in her. The ocean was one of her great loves, and she returned to it whenever she could. Holidays were her time to shine. She poured her love into making them special for the people she cherished most. Cindy was lucky to be surrounded by wonderful friends throughout her life, and she treasured every one of them. Cindy was preceded in death by her former husband, Jimmy, her father, Walter Lopata and mother Ruth (Mozar) Pierce. She is survived by her sister Linda and brother-in-law Jon McGrath; her nieces Kinsley Minella, and Ashley and her husband Alex Macielak; and her great-nephew Jack Macielak and great-nieces Britt Minella and Penny Macielak, who held a place at the very center of her world. Visitation will be Saturday, May 23 from 1pm-3pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a service to begin at 3pm. Burial will follow in Four Corners Cemetery beside her father, Walter.

Josephine (Sisco) Dansereau-Calkins, age 95, passed away at Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow, MA. on April 25, 2026.

Josephine (Sisco) Dansereau-Calkins, originally from Whitefield, NH, moved with her family as a young girl to New Braintree, MA, where they re-established their dairy farm. A graduate of Hardwick High School, she was an active member of the New Braintree Grange. In 1951, Josephine married Noel R. Dansereau (deceased) and began raising her family in Gilbertville before moving to Bondsville. There, she took great pleasure in cultivating her flower gardens, decorating cakes and sewing. Her professional career included 15 years as a clerical worker at Monson Development Center and 10 years as a real estate agent before retiring. Josephine resided in West Brookfield, MA. after her marriage to Charles A. Calkins (deceased), where they traveled the United States together. She moved to Brimfield and Ludlow before her final residence in East Longmeadow. A pillar of her community, Josephine was always eager to help those in need. She delighted in hosting holiday celebrations with her loved ones, singing in the church choir, and took pride in knitting hats and gloves as treasured gifts. Josephine's generous spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Earline (Pike) Sisco-Jones and Leonard Sisco; her four brothers, three sisters, two half-brothers, and four half-sisters; her first husband of 30 years, Noel R. Dansereau; and her second husband of 15 years, Charles A. Calkins.

Josephine is lovingly survived by her four children: Betty & Raymond Rebello of Conway, SC; Sandra & John Kopacz of Belchertown, MA; Paul & Loretta Dansereau of Belchertown, MA; and Gayle & (Andrew, deceased) Smith of Wethersfield, CT. She leaves behind nine grandchildren: Lisa, Allison, Christina, Zachary, Katie, Kevin, Sara, Laura, and Allen; eleven great-grandchildren: Kyle, Camryn, Jacob, Annahliese, Zane, Tattiannah, Madison, Charlotte, Rohan, Reza, and Florence; and three great-great-grandchildren: Margaret, Josephine, Theodore.

She is also survived by her stepson Charles; two step-grandchildren: Eric, Jacob, Ryan, and (Shane, deceased); and five step-great-grandchildren: Lizette, Lauryn, Dillon, Kendal, and London. Josephine's legacy of love and devotion to her family will continue to be cherished by all who knew her.

A burial service is scheduled for June 6 at 11:00 AM at Saint Anne's Cemetery, located at 121 East Main Street, Three Rivers, MA. A friends & family gathering will follow at Tony & Penny's Restaurant, 18 Canterbury Street, Ludlow, MA.

Christopher Joseph Clark

Christopher J. Clark passed away on May 3, 2026. He was born on June 1, 1967, in Springfield, Massachusetts to his loving parents Attorney Owen S. Clark and Linda M. Clark. He was a long-time resident of Palmer, and recently of Ware, Massachusetts.

Christopher graduated from Palmer High School. He earned an Associate's Degree in Art from Holyoke Community College, and a B.A. in Education from American International College. He worked as a sales representative in the electronics department of several retail stores.

Chris was a wonderful artist, winning awards for his paintings. In his youth, he was an avid chess player and collector of comic books. Chris also enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, and later his favorite video game, Skyrim. He always shared a keen sense of humor with family and friends.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Linda Clark; sister, Anne McDonald, and her husband, Bob; sister, Lisa Lavoie; brother, Kevin Clark; and brother, Kenneth Clark, and his wife, Rachel Eisenhaure. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Daniel and his wife Thamyris, Ryan and his wife Liesel, Katherine and her husband Taylor, Rainier, Caleb, Owen, Agatha, Margaret, and David. Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Owen Clark, and his brother-in-law, James Lavoie.

Services will be held on May 11, 2026 at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a period of visitation from 11:30am-12:30pm followed by a funeral home service at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Palmer.

John W. Corcoran

John W. Corcoran, 82, of Bondsville, MA, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026 at his home. Born on May 8, 1943, in Springfield, MA, he was the beloved son of the late William and Lydia (Bono) Corcoran.

John honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated 21 years to the City of Springfield as a firefighter, protecting and serving his community. He then went on to build a long and successful career at Big Y Foods, as a category manager, where he formed many lasting relationships and was respected for his hard work and dedication.

Even in retirement, John remained busy and embraced each day with a sense of energy and purpose. He was a proud member of the AMVETS Post 74, serving two terms as Post Commander. He could often be found there chatting with friends while playing a game of Keno. He was a loyal fan of the Red Sox and Patriots, loved the music of Rod Stewart, and enjoyed playing his online slots. He cherished time with his family and made wonderful memories vacationing in Maine. He was looking forward to spending more time at his cottage in Rhode Island and enjoying a glass of wine on the porch.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Corcoran.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Paula (Midura) Corcoran; the children who loved him, Robert Corcoran (Maria), David Corcoran (Lisa), Nikki Caci (Mark), and Ross Corcoran; and their children, Alexis, Sophia, Madison, Ashley, Cameron, Nico, Hannah, Sophia, Madeline, and Ariana who will forever miss their beloved Poppi and Grampy. He is also survived by his brother, Michael.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Palmer, MA followed by a Celebration of Life at AMVETS Post 74.

Judith “Judy” Anne Stacy, 71, of Monson, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026. Born on July 6, 1954, in Stafford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Clifford E. Stacy and Margaret (Nothe) Stacy.

Judy was a proud graduate of Monson High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree, dedicating her life to a meaningful and compassionate career as a registered nurse. She worked for many years at Baystate Medical Center, where she served as a respected head nurse in the operating room.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her nephews, James Stacy, and Matthew Bratianu.

Judy is lovingly remembered by her longtime partner, Joseph Rourke; her sister, Donna Bratianu; her brothers, Clifford Stacy (JoAnne), Jimmy Stacy (Rose), and Eddie Stacy (Janet); her stepchildren, Maria Rourke and Matthew Rourke (Heather); her granddaughter, Chloe Bier (Christian); her nieces and nephews, Scott, JoAnne, Ryan, and Samantha; and her great-nieces and great-nephew, Margaret, Ryan and Belle.

Judy had a vibrant personality and a warm, welcoming spirit. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and NASCAR, and loved traveling with her partner Joe. She was very social, kind-hearted, and had a special ability to get along with everyone she met. Above all, she deeply adored her family and cherished the time she spent with them.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, with a funeral home service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers can be made to the Dementia Society of America or to the Rays of Hope at baystatehealth.org.
