I’m incredibly proud to share a professional milestone: I have officially earned the Advanced Hearing Aid Practitioner (AHAP) designation!

With this achievement, I’m honored to be one of only 8 professionals in the United States — and just 9 worldwide — to currently hold the AHAP title.

AHAP represents advanced education beyond the traditional scope of hearing aid dispensing, with an emphasis on expanding clinical knowledge, strengthening best practices, and elevating the standard of hearing healthcare we provide.

For me, this isn’t simply about adding letters after my name. It represents something I deeply believe in: our patients deserve practitioners who never stop learning.

Hearing healthcare is constantly evolving. Our understanding of hearing, cognition, communication, technology, verification, and overall health continues to grow — and I believe our education should grow right along with it.

At Nacci Hearing, continuing education isn’t something we do just to maintain a credential. It’s part of who we are. We invest in advanced training because the people who trust us with their hearing deserve our very best.

✈️ Nacci Hearing Takes on Colorado! 🏔️

Some of our Nacci Hearing team traded Georgia for the beautiful Colorado mountains over the past few days for professional training and continuing education!

At Nacci, we believe exceptional hearing care starts with never stopping learning. Hearing healthcare, technology, and best practices are constantly evolving, and we’re committed to investing in ongoing education for our team so we can continue bringing the latest knowledge, techniques, and innovations home to the people we serve.

Of course, we made time for a little fun, too! 🎉 We celebrated Kaitlin’s birthday while we were there and even met up with some family who proudly represented Nacci Hearing for the day!

And no Colorado adventure would be complete without a visit to the legendary Casa Bonita. 🌴🌮 If you’ve never heard of it, Casa Bonita is a one-of-a-kind Denver-area landmark — part restaurant, part theatrical experience, complete with elaborate themed rooms, live entertainment, cliff divers, waterfalls, and plenty of wonderfully over-the-top fun. It’s truly something you have to see to believe!

We’re heading home with new knowledge, great memories, and even more excitement about what we’re building at Nacci Hearing.

In August of 2020, Blake and I were selling microgreens at the Serenbe Farmers Market — one of Blake’s passion projects and ultimately what first brought us to Serenbe. Looking back now, it feels like another one of those serendipitous moments that quietly changed the course of our lives. 🌱

That day, we met a woman just over 40 with a young daughter who quietly shared with me — after learning what I did for a living — that she didn’t feel she was hearing as well as she should. We ended up talking about hearing technology, hearing health, and what was possible.

Over the years, we stayed connected, and she later shared that our conversation helped give her the confidence to finally move forward with hearing devices.

Today, we are so excited to announce that Alishia has officially joined the team at Nacci Hearing Specialists! ❤️

Because of her own personal experience with hearing loss and hearing technology, Alishia understands firsthand how life-changing better hearing can be. She’ll be the warm and compassionate voice you hear when you call our office, and we know our patients are going to absolutely love her.

We are also excited to share that Nacci Hearing will now have TWO convenient locations — our original Serenbe clinic and our brand new Peachtree City office!
